    Just want to respond to those that are using the trend regarding lakers' subpar performances vs elite teams, although as convincing as this trend may seem, I wouldn't look into it as heavily because after all, these trends are bound to be broken and on what better stage than in the Garden in a revenge game vs an old time rival?

    Plus, the NBA never fails to surprise when the "public seems to have things figured out"
