    Do the Lakers get revenge Thursday vs. Boston???

    I like revenge games, and this will be huge for the Lake show.

    I love the under, b/c defense was a problem for the Lakers in their last meeting.

    Lakers ML looks appealing also.

    on a side note I think I know the Lakers problem: They are a big, and slow team. I dont mean that as a slight, but just my observation. They are a half court team, that has problems with transition defense. When they slow the game down, and feed the post it helps them not to have to chase long rebounds which makes transitioning to defense more difficult.

    They lack a three point shooter, which hurts their half court offense. Sometime Kobe has to dominate shooting the perimeter shots, which hurts the team too.


    If they catch the Celtics in the Finals they can beat them. But if they get the Heat in the finals, will get ran off the court. Heat would make the game a full court affair, and the Lakers have no one that would be able to keep up.


    Yaddda Yadda Yadda. I like Lakers ML vs. Boston this Thursday.

    Celtics looked weak with 10 guys in uniform tonight, but was on second game of back2back. i would lean lakers as well but as a boston fan knowing the team it's never a good idea to bet against them esp having a day to rest.

    As much as I'd like to see the Lakers beat the Celtics thursday I just don't see it happening. Regarding your side note, If the Lakers make it to the Finals which I doubt they will get embarrassed by Whoever their opponent is. They have become complacent, unmotivated, slow. People are making the 'they are old' theory. I say that's B.S Look at the Spurs. They are old and running the NBA west. The only positive about playing the Lakers thursday is they are the team with something to prove now. The Celtics already made their statement against the Lakes this season so yes the revenge factor would be my only reason to take them in this spot. IMO

    Really tough game to call. My initial lean was Lakers though, for the revenge factor, and the possible value in the line due to them being the away team.

    lakers cant beat celtics without having home court. Last year they lucked out with perkins injury in games 6 and 7. Otherwise Boston should have won last year. This year celtics will have home court if they reach finals and lakers will have no chance....well if they are lucky enough to get past spurs and dallas that is.

    i say celtics just because they might have shaq this time around. i think i'd still pick celtics if shaq wasn't playing because perkins would be in much better shape on thursday than he was on the last meeting.
