    Dallas Mavericks vrs NY Knicks

    This game tonight at MSG is looking like it will be a great game. These teams only met twice (2) last year with Dallas destroying the Knicks at home by 50 points ( Dal 128 Knicks 78). Knicks went to Dallas late in the season and returned the favor by winning by 34 points (Knicks 128 Dal 94) . This is the first meeting of the season for these clubs.


    The Mavericks have won five (5) games in a row as Nowitzki, Kidd and Chandler have been playing great ball as of late. The offense has been averaging 97.2 points a game but the defense has been only giving up 94.5 points a game. Mavs have mostly been relying on their Defense more than their offense so far this season. Mavs last played Monday against a poor Washington team.


    The Knicks have been playing much better than anyone may of thought as of the beginning of the season. Knicks have played very well at home this season so far too. Stoudemire seems to be having a MVP season this year as he has become the Team Leader. He has a sprained knee and should of sat out the last game but he decided to play. His presence on the court motivated not only himself but his teammates as well in their last win. Knicks are averaging 106.5 points a game on Offense and giving up an average of 106 points a game on defense.


    I think tonight the Mavs will be forced to push the ball a little more up and down the court then they may want to. Knicks love to run at home. I believe that points will be flying high in tonight’s contest and this game may even be looking like an Over time thriller! The play of the night is OVER 210!

    I like the Knicks here to win outright as well. That is if they play the game. I know the big blizzard is still spinning around in New England, so who knows. Depending on when the Mavs got in NY and if they had any travel troubles, that may play into the home team's favor too. Or I could just be over analyzing an act of god. lol

    Dallas played monday in Washington so I assume they went up to NY on Monday night or Tuesday morning. Should not be a factor....

    I'm liking the Mavs in this one - they're a great road team, and are pretty much back to their pre-Nowitzki-injury state. The Knicks are good, but don't think they're quite able to contend with elite teams yet. Mavs ML here.

    First off my play is da over not the game. As you may be right as Dal was 2-7 when Dirk was out with his knee and they are something like 30-8 when he has played.

    Usually NYK are over covering machines, not so sure tonight.

    Agree Knicks have been a covering machine. I have made some very good $$$$ on them with the points and ml. As far as the over, Knicks do put up points as well as give up points. I see this as a close 111-110 game or so. Knicks have been off a few days and Mavs had an easy game monday. GL

    48 mins to tip off and the line has dropped another .5 points to now OVER/UNDER 209.

    I am waiting to see if I can get another drop to 208.5 , if not I will bang the hell out of it @209................GO OVER
