Nets Could Get Carmelo, Rip and Chauncey

Nets could get Carmelo, Rip Hamilton and Chauncey Billups in same trade this week. They may get instant respectability depending on who they lose,

Giving up Morrow, Harris, and Favors, and at least 2 first round draft picks. Depending on who the picks are Denver could win this trade if Chauncey buys out.

They get to get rid of Hamilton. Urija is gonna **** this deal up again though, what an incompetent asshole he is. They deserve to lose Melo for nothing.

That is actually a good deal for the Nets, and their fan base I think would go up. But sadly enough none of those players want to be in New Jersey lol. And couldn't New Jersey get the long part of the stick in the end. Because Carmelo could just go elsewhere at the end of the season when his contract ends. But the Nets need some type of trade because what they have now isn't working financially, team, and fan base wise. Picking up Laker rejects won't do it, despicable...

Dude, dont you know anything about this trade? No extension = NO TRADE. Melo will sign no matter where he goes anyway, noone in their right mind leaves that kind of money on the table with a lockout around the corner.

Denver is going to clean up with this trade. Billups and Hamilton are at the end of their careers and don't have many more years left. Favors is a stud and with two first rounders in the next two years...they could get some great pieces.

This trade will really hurt the Nets franchise in about 2-3 years.

Favors is gonna be a stud, Devon Harris is no slouch, and will be a great guard on a good team, and two 1st rounders, including a lottery pick. WOW, they must really want Carmelo, because Billups and Rip arent too attractive these days.

Interesting discussion borderline argument on TNT about this tonight. Trade sounded dead, now picking up some attention again.

Steve Kerr started the hating on NJ, not very nice, Mike and Marv had to come in and defend them. Help that they both work for Yes commentating Nets games. Always thought Kerr was a smart guy but no surprise why he made a shitty gm.

Then round 2 was CWebb vs Kenny. This time it was Kenny the knick homer attacking NJ. CWebb got the better of him imo.

I should watch this show more, it seems like they have some serious arguments at times. Dont think Webb and Kenny like each other. Last time i remember when Chuck was there Webb almost walked off the stage saying why he was invited there in the 1st place or something like that. Was funny.

And being a Nets fan, exactly what has been done since the Kidd/Carter era that has "helped" for the long term?
