The league's best will battle it out on February 20 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Hometown hero Kobe Bryant is the overall leader in voting at the moment, with Magic center Dwight Howard not that far behind. Chris Paul, Rajon Rondo, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade and Kevin Garnett would also be starters if the voting ended today.

International voting remains a force to be reckoned with as Yao Ming, out for the remainder of the season, tops all Western Conference centers in votes.

What about the young guns in the NBA such as Blake Griffin and Kevin Love? Given their impressive play thus far this season, do they deserve their first All-Star appearances?

Starters will be announced on January 27 while the rest of the selections will be made by February 3. Who deserves a nod and who should be left out in the cold?
