    Why not be taking advantage of the situation and make money betting against them? If they suck right now take advantage of it and load up on the opposition. Maybe the oddsmakers will be slow to adjust the lines on them especially at home.

    Kobe lost a step or two. He is still trying to jack them up though. I don't know why everyone gives him so much credit for being a closer? He misses more game winners when I am watching than he makes. He got bailed out by gasol and artest in the playoffs last year after shooting air balls for the win. Not to mention his game 7 performance in last years finals shooting 25 percent, but still shooting non the less.

    oh dont get cunty obviously the lakers are going to be in the picture at the end of the year. But I dont see them getting past the Spurs/Mavericks let alone beating the Celtics/Heat/Magic.

    The Lakers arent gonna do it this year. But for right now in early January, wow they are terrible. I think they should make a trade. Artest blows and is a liability that hasnt really reared its ugly head yet. Ron can **** ANYTHING up at any minute. Sling him and Blake for a stud.
