The only category Lebron James is a definite winner is defensively. I only hope we can put this whole discussion to rest in 6 or 7 years when Lebron is exposed as the good semi talented overrated player the smart fan of NBA already can see. He will never match Kobe's ring count nor his stats in NBA all time.

lebron is super athletic that's all he doesn't even have a post up game, doesn't have a reliable jump shot, he relies on his athleticism too much, just wait till he ages and we'll see how much of a player he is

The point is they didn't need two other all stars to make their teams contenders and MJ made this exact statement regarding James decision to dis his hometown the city of Cleveland to go play on an all star team. Funny thing is they still won't win the championship this season.

What a pathetic display by Kobe and the Lakers today. Lebron and the Heat came to play and showed Kobe who the best in the NBA currently is...and it's not even close. Miami dominated on both ends of the court. So much for Kobe being the ultimate competitor.

You mean like Kobe tried to do in game 7 last year? Or how about his epic collapse against the Suns? Kobe's numbers GO DOWN in the playoffs, Lebron's improve.

I dare you to try defending Kobe's miserable performance tonight. He played with no pride at all.

williams, you are in the wrong forum.

I'd advice to check this one out, looks a bit more adequate to your lebron love.

how about your boy's fake elbow injury last year that you defended, gave excuses and change account just because you don't want to get embarassed, game 7? how about the whole playoffs where lal needed kobe's heroics, the suns series was one sided genius look at his inferior roster those players aren't even relevant in today's NBA with the exception of lamar

yeah he played bad today so did the whole team, let's talk come june

There's no excuse. Lakers as a whole played like shit. Still the world champions and last christmas was the same thing.

We'll see you on the finals - if your boy gets there.

u did, which is why i quoted u, and y i made my response.
dude, kobe needs 2 all stars to make himself a contender, so does every superstar in this league
would the lakers be a contender w/o pau and odom? no
how many titles did KG, allen and pierce win w/o each other?

this argument needs to be put to rest. if u wanna say lebron is a choker, that makes more sense
but to say lebron cant win it on this own, is stupid
kobe didnt win jack shit on his own either

Haha you're pathetic. The elbow injury was real, ask of the columnists with access to James...still doesn't justify his performance, but it was real.

You live in the past so often it must be kind of sad. The Lakers looked awful tonight. Miami shut them down on both ends and Lebron had the most effortless triple double I've seen in a while. Be man enough to give props when props are due.

kwame come on being benched because of nazr mohammed
    radmanovic benched in gsw
walton lots of DNP in LAL now, remember he was the 3rd option back then
    cook with the clipshits
mihm was a serviceable big man but due to that freak injury
mckie and jim jackson given both are on their last legs during that time

Uh, since when does this matter? Go look at any Cleveland roster in the last 7 years.

Let's talk about today and this season...you know, where Lebron just sh*t on Kobe AGAIN. All Kobe could do was talk.

if you think it's real then why didn't he have a surgery during the off season? and why did you change username? cause you can't backup your claims

yeah they looked awful tonight so what? did they lose the championship tonight, and who lives in the past more you keep bringing up that 05-06 suns series

that cleveland roster is a lot better than what kobe had during 05-07

this season ain't over yet, if you're basing it on one game/ one regular season series then lebron must have suck so much since he got swept in the regular season by the mavs

Mavs are one of the best teams in the NBA, are you serious? Of course the Heat were going to have a learning curve, but they are really starting to come around now. The Lakers have been looking pretty awful lately.

What happened to Kobe tonight, the Ultimate Competitor? Lebron tore him apart and embarrassed him at home on Christmas last year, you would think he'd show some fight this year.

wow when someone beats the heat they become one of the best teams in the NBA, excuses are readily made by you, so what about the lakers being awful just like last year isn't it? where you proclaimed LAL won't win last year etc

he played like shit so what at least he shows up come playoff time, unlike someone who fakes an injury because he knows he can't win

Do you not think Dallas is one of the best teams in the NBA? You can't possibly be serious. Watch someone besides your man crush one day. There's much better basketball being played in cities not named LA right now.
