I'm new to the site myself and I've see "this" post a few times before already. Obviously any half a retard knows there is no bet what is there meaning In this post? Do books really pay low lifes 5cent an hour to go around msg boards and post this? And if they do, is there meaning here. R they encouraging people to bet celtics? I like the bet but honestly a post like this makes me think twice.

Is there more of a chance that this is a child with no friends looking for attention and I'm overthinking? I mean, I havenkt really seen this guy troll that much, usually just makes the post and gone so it doesn't look like he's really looking for attention.

I am seriously curious as well. This is a copy/paste post every time, with a team name changed. This time he didn't even bother to change the league from NFL to NBA.

You can always tell scam emails by the fact that they have egregious typos and are carbon-copies of other scam emails. Is this the same thing? Going into conspiracy theory mode, it really does seem that someone is just paid to post these things to influence people in the betting "community." Especially since these are almost exclusively his only posts.

There are only a couple options here:

1. A mentally-disabled person (seriously) who thinks that people don't notice this.
2. A troll (most likely).
3. A person doing this on purpose to try to persuade people who only passively look at thread titles and think, "OH MY GOD! This guy is betting huge! I better get my money on them too!".

Either way, I am ****** because I took Boston. This guy is the new THA_DESIEL.

i was about to say "nobodys payin this F*ckin tool, hes just tryin to make a name for himself." but the more i think about it....and the reason hes not trolling much is because he wants to win first then start promoting some fake record and directing people to a winning post. but he never wins.

it would make sense for the books to get someone to lure people into makin a bad bet. especially ones like this "magic lost 8 outta 10?? celtics on a huge streak...2 points...lotsa people might follow this tool blindly not knowing he does this like twice a week and always loses.

Seriously, Ratzz and Jmilacek have great points. 1) People who wager high amounts on games don't advertise it, and they darn sure don't spend all day hanging out on message boards (I'm thinking of other posters here in the past who claim to be dropping $50k or even $15k on a game or a parlay). If you have that much money you are doing other things, and if you are investing that much money in a sporting event you are spending all your time making sure you have absolutely every detail covered. You aren't posting 20x a day on a message board.

This turkey only shows up once in a while, but as Jmilacek points out, the dummy didn't even change his cut & paste from earlier this year. I think this very well might be a plant to try to separate people from their money.
