Bucks face Lakers to end tough stretch

Cash in on basketball betting as the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers face off on Tuesday, December 21 at 10:30 p.m. ET at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, featuring Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom and Brandon Jennings. The Bucks are beginning to play better, but this schedule isn’t doing them any favors. Milwaukee beat Dallas last week for its third straight victory, but has lost two straight since to San Antonio and Utah. All three of those squads are playoff caliber, as are Milwaukee’s next two opponents in Portland on Monday and the defending champion Lakers on Tuesday. The Bucks will have to play Los Angeles on the road, where Milwaukee is only 3-9 this season.
The Lakers are 11-2 at home. The Bucks had a solid year last season, but began this campaign slowly despite being expected to challenge the Bulls in their division. Milwaukee is led by point guard Brandon Jennings, who is averaging 17.9 points and 5.5 assists on the year. It might not be probable for Milwaukee to challenge for the division title any more, but the team definitely has the talent to make the playoffs in the Eastern Conference. Unfortunately, making up ground in the standings is quite tough against Los Angeles.
The Lakers are 20-7 this season, led, as always, by Kobe Bryant. The team’s star shooting guard is putting up more than 26 points per game, and has been able assisted by forwards Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom. Young center Andrew Bynum recently returned from injury, and he will give the team yet another weapon down low. Los Angeles has one of the deepest and most talented teams in the NBA when everyone is healthy, and the Bucks will find that out on Tuesday.
Milwaukee is one of the worst teams in the league in scoring, and the Lakers are an above average defensive unit. The Lakers could very well jump out to a big lead through three quarters and then take their foot off the gas, so taking the under on points could be a good choice. As for the result, this call is easy. The Lakers have the talent and the home court advantage, so there should be no hesitation in choosing Los Angeles over the Bucks in NBA Basketball Wagering.
