Today SBR made a mistake providing the +900 ML line on Wizards.

I received a PM telling me that if I take a line like that again I'll get banned from the book. But they are the ones responsible for the correctness of the line, so how are we at fault? I know they have a unique policy on this situation, but logically it's not right.

Why can't they just remove the line saying it was a mistake without punishing people for it? The whole point of betting on lines is to find an edge, I'd appreciate a notice for taking a bad line I'm not responsible for. How are we stealing anyways, when they have the ability to stop bets if they think a line is wrong?

I've heard users saying that they took bad lines, but when it lost SBR didn't return the money. I hope there isn't hypocrisy going on here. Thanks.

This way if you win a big dog they don't have to pay you cuz "it was a bad line." And if you keep beating the Sbr book, they'll just ban you cuz you keep beating their bad lines.

thats gay, if the bookie or whoever makes an errant line and you hit thats their problem..

My bookie made an era yesterday with the nets/warriors line. Nets +15 ATS @ $1.91. It was meant to be +1.5 but they forgot to put in the decimal point. They pay on these errors no questions asked. Its the employee on the sportsbook side making the error, you shouldn't get punished for betting these lines. You are the customer and you keep them in a job.

yup honestly, a bookie should think ok whatever we'll let you win +700 the odds in our favors for you to lose a huge chunk if not all of it by the end of the week if you play a lot..
