I'd say closer to #15, as he is still the third best player on his own team.

Hahaha. My list was top 10 players. He would have been on a list of top 10 scorers, but he has no natural position, and can't play defense.

    1) Steve Nash - not even a close second. Look how he makes everyone around him better! Only Magic had that capacity, like Nash has it. He's also made Boris Diaw the most improved player in the NBA.

    2) Shawn Marion. Just check his stats. Basketball is a team sport and PHX understands that. The NBA advertises itself through superstars, in the never ending search for the next MJ, but this has noting to do with what is happening on the court.

Amare will be very high as well, but he may not return this season, so I'm not counting him. Next season he may be my number 1 pick. When Shaq first saw Amare play he said: "I've seen the future of the NBA."

    Wow, lot of Suns. lol

    3) Tim Duncan. Another low profile guy, and ultimate team player.

    4) Kobe Bryant. Obviously a good player, but overrated because he doesn't make the players around him better.

    5) Chauncey Billups. See Duncan. Team player who knows what it takes to win.

    6) Ben Wallace. Best defensive player in the league. Just wait until playoff time.

7-10, in no particular order: LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Dirk Nowitzki, Carmelo Anthony or Vince Carter. Tracey McGrady didn't make my list, because he's cruising. Very talented, but not interested enough in reaching the next level.

Kobe Bryant is going to end his career as one of the top 5 of all
time. He is by far the best player. I hate the Lakers I watch since
I am in L.A. And he is amazing.

A great player makes a team gel. Only then does everybody get better. I never judge players as apart from the team, but I realize most of the public does. If Kobe was a true champion, Shaq would still be playing in LA, and they would have a couple more rings each.

Best thing Lakers did was get rid of SHAQ. He is not dominate like
he used to be. He is in the east keep in mind. Also that contract
was crazy. It was a great long term deal.

Thanks for giving the Pistons and Duncan more credit. Championships determine how good a player is much more than points. Sadly that would have to knock my favorite player KG down a few notches.

Well, in this case I just go by what Magic said about that situation. Nobody sees it clearer than Magic Johnson, and he knows the inside story. I don't care how everybody else tries to twist the facts, least of all Kobe who would probably be doing twenty behind bars if he hadn't been a superstar.

Bro I knew the real story about Kobe before most people. Kobe didn't
rape that bitch, what he did was try to f\*\*k her in the ass ,at 1st
she said she it was cool, then when he started fvckin her she was crazy and acting all funny and shit and she told him to stop and he wanted to pop
in her ass and she kept tellin him to stop and he didnt realize she was
    serious. Thats what happened.

Well this is kind if a hard list just because of what do you do with injured players, and guys like McGrady, Duncan, and Garnett who have been playing hurt all year. If everyone was healthy I would rank them like this:

    1. Duncan
    2. Garnett
    3. Shaq
    4. Bryant
    5. McGrady
    6. Nowitzki
    7. Wade
    8. James
    9. Brand
    10. Arenas
    11. Nash
    12. Stoudemire
    13. Kirilenko
    14. Ming
    15. Pierce
    16. Billups
    17. Artest
    18. Gasol
    19. Carter
    20. Bosh
    21. Iverson
    22. Marion

number 22 exactly after my extensive research

I think Duncan is overrated. I think you have SHAQ to high #3??

    Pierce is better than #15..

Tracy McGrady is injured way too much for me to put him in a top 10 list IMO

no doubt about him being a top 10 quality player in the league, but that back problem he has just hurt his rating that much.

how the hell can someone who has never won a mvp go down as in the top 5 best ever?

no doubt kobe is the best clutch player in the nba today and is in the running for mvp but if the lakers do not make the playoffs then he can kiss that mvp goodbye

nash is the frontrunner for mvp right now but kobe is close enough to make a move as long as he and the lakers win

remember you need to make your teammates better or you are not as good as you can be as 4 other teammates lifted by the play of one superstar is always better than one superstar thinking he is the whole team

that's why nash will probably get it and deservedly so

Anderson Hunt was the best college player that didn't make it

Do you remember Anderson Hunt looker? Not too many people
    do.

Yes I do, but to bad I wasnt living here durning those years. That would of been great to go to the games when the Rebels mopped up everyone.

I think he drives for a water company here. Like sparkletts or somesheit. Thats what Ive heard. Could be a joke though.

where did u live before? Anderson Hunt was a deadly 3pt shooter.

What a team that UNLV was. Greg anthony, stacey Augmon,Larry
Johnson. They beat the shit out of Duke one year. I loved it.
    f\*\*k Duke.

I still think to this day that is the biggest blow out in the championship game. I could be wrong. And it couldnt of happen to a better team.

on Razz's list where AI isnt in the top 10

no defense? just a scorer? he's made the all defensive team and led the league in steals 4 times.

I agree, Razz is usually right but leaving out AI is
    just completely wrong.
