Now the Finals are shaping up boys and girls, and representing the WEST the LAKER'S, having a regular season record of 57-25 post season record of 12-3 and counting with no losses on their home court of the Staples Center.
The Laker's have this years NBA MVP Kobe Bryant and though they had a couple hard fought games in the playoffs, they really were not challenged. So much so they are the only team in this years playoffs to go undefeated at home, and the team with the most road wins than any other team left in the playoffs.
Either way you look at it the Laker's will be the Road team in this years finals, but is that really such a bad thing. The laker's have proven that they can win on the road, and as you all know the Finals are a different format than the other series previous. Instead of the normal 2-2-1-1-1, we now move to the 2-3-2. Below is this years finals schedule for the Laker's.

Now the Laker's during the regular season split 2 games against the Pistons and 2 games against the Celtics they were unable to come up with a win. We also know that the regular season doesn't mean nothing now. Both games against the Celtics we had no Gasol, and one of those games they had the laker's in throw backs with those tiny tiny shorts. Click on this link to see the photos of those shorts in action: http://assets.espn.go.com/photo/2007...g_odom_200.jpg
Though that happened we as Laker fans do not dwell on the past but only look forward and the only thing holding us back for another Ring and championship banner are either the Pistons and more likely the Celtics. The Celtics and Laker's series will be great and here is my little prediction who ever it may be.
Prediction- This series will be low scoring look for the under in most if not all of the games, and also the laker's need 1 road win from the first 2 and then they go back home 2 close out the series. If that does not happen then look for the 3 home wins and in game 5 look for the win. Any way that you look at it the Laker's will win, this is their year. GO LAKER'S
