Boston lacks gears. They have two at the most in road games. The more gears, the better. Gears work somewhat like this, during successive portions of the game:

    1) team A: "f*ck you!"
    2) team B: "no, f*ck YOU!"
    3) team A: "NO! F*CK YOU!!!"
    4) Boston: ok...

Found something amusing about the Piston Celtics game tonight. This little article gave me a little something to make a side bet on. ::oh by the way DARK Horse i think you have finally lost it bro!I'll take team D all of the Above.) anyway check this out....

Detroit is 2-12 ATS last 3 years in the Conference Finals. Boston is allowing only 89.7 points per game overall this year. Boston is 4-1 ATS at Detroit the past 3 years. Celtics are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games as an underdog of 5.0-10.5. Celtics are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games as a road underdog of 5.0-10.5. Celtics are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Celtics are 39-13 ATS in their last 52 when their opponent scores 100 points or more in their previous game. Celtics are 19-7 ATS in their last 26 Saturday games. Celtics are 19-8 ATS in their last 27 games as an underdog. Celtics are 40-17 ATS in their last 57 games as a road underdog. Underdog is 6-2 ATS in the last 8 meetings. Road team is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings. We'll recommend a small play on Boston tonight!

If Boston can win 1 game in Detroit they go to the Finals and spank-tify the Lakers

I like their chances tonight...Boston has yet to win or even cover on the road but I am taking the +5 tonight. Should be the normal low scoring pace after the game 2 explosion. Allen is finally starting to find his shot which is a big confidence booster and should help the team come together a little bit. Then again it looks like the whole world is on Detroit as the home fave.

We have just seen the Celtics HORRIBLE on the road in two straight series, and only squeezing by because of home court. So now the Pistons took one in Boston, and suddenly the soft Celtics are supposed to have located their manhood?

    OK.

    Anything is possible.

DH, the Celtics are not the Suns.

Sounds like you're underestimating their mental toughness, they have to get it done now, and they'll find a way to.

    lol.

I'm clearly on record, before the playoffs, calling the Celtics soft. Not many saw it then. So not about to change my tune about Boston now.

well i guess i could say

" all year long i have felt the celts would win the east. i am great. therefore, why abandon them because its 1-1 and they have 5 chances to win 3 games. they are an 800 team
    they can win 60%"

Are you basing this off of their 0-27 road record in post season play?

    Or something else?

Like I've been saying all along, the Celts had no sense of urgency on the road until now. If they had lost a game at home in the first two rounds, you would have seen the team that showed up on the road tonight much earlier.

Now the home team wins the rest of the series - Celts in 7.
