11.4.10: KNICKS OVER 47 [-110] Would expect Chicago to play better defense obviously after giving up 70, but this is still a Knicks team that can score. They made their way to the FT line a ton in the 1st half and that is more important going forward than their 53% shooting. The shooting may cool, but if they remain aggressive and get to the line, I think they can equal or surpass this number. Need to start strong in the 3rd and not go into drought mode.
11.4.10: THUNDER-TRAILBLAZERS OVER 97 [-110] OKC has ZERO defense. I do not expect POR to shoot over 60% for the game, but the Thunder have not shown a propensity for defense so I expect that they will continue to give opportunity to their opponent. Portland has allowed a poor shooting Thunder club to shoot 50% in the 1st half. What would be big in the 2nd half is for both teams to be aggressive and get to the free throw line. Only twelve FTs shot between the two in the 1st half. Even though the number of possessions is slightly below the number for the 2nd half, with the efficiency/lack of D, I am going for more points.
11.5.10: PACERS-BUCKS OVER 97 [-110] Both teams putting up big points in the 1st half while not shooting a great percentage. Credit the trips to the FT line which number at 30 between the two teams. The number of possessions here is much higher than the total set. If they stay aggressive on both sides, this should have an excellent shot.
11.5.10: PISTONS OVER 43 [-115] A play on principle here that this is a very low total even with two teams like Charlotte and Detroit. Pistons had 55 in the 1st half with solid shooting. Not a ton of outside shots though, so they have a shot to keep pace.
11.5.10: LAKERS-RAPTORS OVER 212 [-110] Finishing tonight with a full game. Lakers are putting up almost 114 ppg. Toronto has given up over 100 in four of five games. Dinos have scored at least 100 in every game. Toronto's two away games have hit OVER, expecting this one to do the same.
11.7.10: PISTONS-WARRIORS UNDER 103.5 [-110] Always dangerous taking any sort of under with G-State, but they have not been good on offense in their last two games now plus I don't trust Detroit to score for crap. Might be a sucker bet, but that's me.
11.9.10: NETS OVER 49 [-110] Jersey only scored 42 in the 1st half, but shot well enough. Need to get to the line more, but Cleveland's defense has been sorry early in the season and I think the Nets will have a shot to score more if they get their FT on.
11.9.10: HEAT-JAZZ UNDER 96 [-110] Another Heat blowout and their 2nd halves have trended heavily to UNDER so far this season. Following that trend tonight.
11.9.10: CLIPPERS OVER 44.5 [-110] Clips did not shoot well, but still managed to score 41. They did get to the FT line a good amount and hit 13/14 from the line. Their offense had been pretty solid the last few games and even against a stout Hornets squad, 45 isn't a ton of points to ask for in the 2nd half. As long as they stay aggressive, they should be close.
11.10.10: WIZARDS-ROCKETS OVER 103.5 [-110] Tonight I'm going with the gut. All the time, every time. It either works or it doesn't. Rockets defense is still critically poor. Rockets have put up points in spite of poor shooting, so there is room for more from them.
