Portland Will Win the Northwest Division

You got the three main teams in this division in Utah, Denver, and OKC. Minnesota obviously won't make the playoffs.

OKC is projected to win this division and take a 2 seed in the West. Sorry but that will not happen.

Portland's length is going to give teams huge problems this year. Their starting 5 is top 4 in the league, I think it might even be possible to take a 2 seed in the West this year.

McMillan is a good coach, very underrated, he was a big part of the Pistons title run in 04.

Utah may not even make the playoffs. Denver will be good with Carl back but Melo doesn't seem completely focused this year and I think there will be some problems with that team as the season progresses. OKC is not that good, they won games last year off pure energy. They have a top 5 player in the world and a top 6 pg in the league but thats about it. This team is very inexperienced. They will have lots of ups and downs this year now that they are actually getting some attention versus last year when no one expected them to do anything.

Portland is gonna win the Northwest division I have no doubt about it.

I think this year would be a breakout year for Portland as well.

I honestly think the Warriors would make the playoffs before Utah this year. Utah's roster has diminished a lot.

Portland is going to be healthy for once. I'm excited to see them with a full roster. They have such a big post game where they can dominate, its just a matter if they can stay healthy.

Until Portland gets someone other than Roy who plays with some heart they aint winning nothing. Roy has to shoulder the load too much for this team and usually gets injured at some point because of it.

But he doesnt show up every game and should be more of a threat down low and probably would be if he wasnt taking so many jumpers.

Miller shows up every game and plays hard for being a veteran. He is a leader along with Roy. Aldridge, Camby, Oden (When healthy) and Fernandez all play pretty hard. I don't see how you can say Roy takes on everything by himself. Roy gets a lot of minutes, but that does not mean he carries the load and leads him to getting injured.

This will never happen as long as Brandon Roy is the "STAR" player on the team. The Blazers would have to ship him out and some other players and get a real superstar on the team.

Brandy Roy MOST OVERRATED player in the last decade

Tha_diesel, please stick to posting fadeable plays, thank you. Roy is a great leader, they just have missing pieces.

Not sure what you mean by this. Nate Mac is a very good coach, but he has never had anything to do with the Pistons.

Looks like a nice price you got -- well done, and good start for the Blazers

Nate Mcmillan, or Mack 10 as he was known in Seattle (wore #10), was a career Supersonic as a player, asst, and head coach until '95 when he left to coach the rival Trailblazers and broke a lot of hearts in Seattle as the true fans knew what a gem they had -- in hindsight it was a brilliant move as within a year the team was sold to a group from Oklahoma (with David Stern's blessing) and the writing was on the wall for the death of pro basketball in Seattle

Appreciate your knowledgable opinions, keep em comin
