**Cleveland at Miami**



-- Cleveland (26-17 straight up, 25-16 against the spread) will be playing their second game in two nights after hosting the Nets on Thursday. The Cavaliers are 5-6 SU and 4-6-1 ATS in the latter of back-to-back games.



-- The Cavs have been heating up again, going 6-0 SU and 5-1-1 ATS in their last six games. The public’s favorite parlay combination of Cleveland/Over has cashed four times during this recent stretch.



-- Cleveland is just 10-12 SU and 11-10 away from home, with four of the victories coming in the current winning streak. The ‘over/under’ is 11-11.

-- The Cavs ran past the Heat 115-107 on Dec. 17 as two-point home favorites. The club shot 51 percent from the field, including 40 percent (11-of-28) from downtown in the victory. Lebron James dropped 41 points and 10 boards to boot.

-- After this game, the Cavs head home to host Philadelphia on Saturday.

-- Miami (28-18 SU, 22-23 ATS) extended its winning streak to three games Monday by holding off the L.A. Clippers, 118-114. The Heat failed to cover as 4 ½-point home favorites, while the combined 232 points jumped ‘over’ the closing total of 194 ½.

-- The Heat are 3-1 SU in their last four games, but just 1-3 ATS.

-- Miami has held serve at American Airlines Center this year, going 15-6 on the season. However, the team is only outscoring foes by an average score of 101-95 at home en route to a shaky 8-12 ATS mark. The ‘over’ is 12-9.

-- Despite the loss to Cleveland in December, the Heat have gone 5-2 both SU and ATS in the previous seven meetings against the Cavs. Also, Miami has won five straight home games against Lebron and company.

**San Antonio at Golden State**

-- San Antonio (35-10 SU, 21-23 ATS) will be playing the third road game in four nights after facing Portland on Wednesday. The Spurs have struggled when playing on no days rest, going 2-5 both SU and ATS. The ‘under’ is 4-3.


-- Greg Popovich’s team is currently on an eight-game road trip due to the National Rodeo taking over the AT&T Center in San Antonio.


-- The Spurs have been known to go on serious mid-season runs and this year is no different. The team is 8-1 SU and 7-2 ATS in the last nine games, including four straight wins and covers.

-- Defense is king in San Antonio and some things never change. Pop’s club is holding opponents to 87.6 points per game and 42.5 percent from the field, ranked second and first respectively in the league.

-- The Spurs have won and covered four consecutive games against the Warriors, including a 113-89 thrashing on Nov. 23 as four-point home favorites. The combined 202 points eclipsed the closing total of 184, helping the ‘over’ go 3-1 during this run.

-- San Antonio gets a little reprieve after tonight’s tip, with the team’s next game scheduled for next Wednesday in Toronto.

-- Golden State (20-23 SU, 20-23 ATS) heads back home Thursday after battling Seattle at Key Arena last night. The Warriors are 4-6 SU and 5-5 ATS when playing on no days rest, but a decent 2-1 both SU and ATS when facing a team in a back-to-back situation.


-- The Warriors snapped a four-game losing streak last Saturday by dropping Portland 98-83 as a 5 ½-point home favorite.

-- The ‘under’ is currently on a 9-2 for Golden State, but the ‘over’ is still 23-20 on the year.

-- Golden State has been beat up by the injury bug lately. Guard Jason Richardson (back) and forward Mike Dunleavy (ankle) are both tabbed “questionable” for this game.

-- This will be the first of a three-game homestand for Golden State with Minnesota visiting The Arena in Oakland on Saturday.
