LA only had a 5.5m MLE that can be split between two players, or they can use it to sign only 1 player, i'd rather give the whole MLE to mike miller or tmac, or split it between tmac raja bell, triangle offense doesn't need a real PG anyways, kobe and lamar are good passers, so they don't need this stupid a hole

steve balke is a great advantage for other teams, he's a worse version of derek fisher, derek fisher can't defend athletic PG's but he's clutch, steve BLAKE sucks he will just be eaten alive by the likes of paul, d will, rose,westbrook

Lakers should have been more focused on Mike Miller. Steve Blake is basically on the same level as Jordan Farmer. He's not all that good hence all the trading he's been dealt with. Lakers should dump the trash... Luke Walton, Farmer, MBenga, Powell, and Sasha Vulacic. Heck they should even probably trade Andrew Bynum. I think the Rockets wouldn't mind trading Yao Ming for him... Bynum is inconsistent... And let Adam Morrison get some playtime I bet he would do really well... i agree with you here. i'm not really sure why the dude gets virtually no pt, but i think given the chance, how could he be worse than sasha on a night in, night out basis? i mean, guy plays with heart and has got to be a better shooter than what "the machine" has shown lately. i could see him making a lot of hustle plays too. i wish phil would humor us for like, a week so we could see what he sees.

For some reason, I like Blake. I can see him developing well in their system. He is not as athletic as Farmar, but he is more consistent, as well as, a better ballhandler and playmaker. As long as we can re-sign either Fisher or Brown, this should be a good pick up.
