Nash is great don't get me wrong, top 3-4 pg in the league right now, probably top 15 PG ever, but he is overrated. He never even deserved 1 of those MVPs. He will never win a ring. His team may not even make the playoffs next year.

He can't carry a team by himself bro, he needs another star. I really don't understand what Nash has done in his career to warrant putting him as a top 5 PG of all time.

Nash is one of the worst defenders in the NBA my man. He gets abused by elite point guards on a daily basis. You can't be considered one of the best ever if you don't play defense. It's not just about offense. There's no way Nash is better than someone like Isiah Thomas.

Very risky move by the Knicks. No guarantees about his health. This could easily turn into a Grant Hill in Orlando situation where he barely plays.

Jack Sikma had a very nice stroke. He shot 46% for his career from the field and 85% from the line. He had one year he shot 92% from free throws, best ever by a true center.

Paying a guy who will be 28 pretty soon into next season, has had microfracture in both knees and is a poke in the eye away from being blind in one eye $100M over 5 years is a risky decision, but I don't think the Knicks had much choice.

nash is a great player, but does his career even warrant him being a HOF'er?

    Agreed.

Also (pre-injury, pre-NBA) Sabonis deserves a honorable mention since he played like a true big, even moreso than Ewing.

you arent serious are you? nash is a sure fire hall of famer. the guy is 35 years old right now and look at the way he plays pg with severe back pain.

Cool, The Nicks could be a team to watch if they could sign Lebron as well.

This team is still not a contender in the East. They need a big name PG and a middle of the road C (Haywood?) to even enter the conversation.

Cavs, Celtics, Magic, Hawks and Miami / Chicago (whoever wins free agency) all seem like stronger teams heading into next year.

In 3 years, the Celts will probably drop off this list, but the Bucks seem to be on the up and up.

Cap space is a valuable resource. Why save up for 2 years just to overpay for a broken resource? Would any consumer act in the same way and be praised?

Who is going to spoon feed him passes for easy layups and dunks like Nash did in PHX? No one... I don't see this as a good signing if they can't get a LeBron or Wade to join him.

Yes, I think this team can make the playoffs, but is that what we've been waiting 2+ years for?

    Amare better than Bosh???

Amare has no defense at all, he doesn't even try.

He is an undersized pussy of a power forward who will back down and quit against a physical opponent who is getting the best of him.

He has a good jump shot and post moves but will never win a ring

Amare isn't a loser. He's lost his place on the Knicks and isn't Acting the way that the fans would like him to

Did people forget amare was an MVP candidate until they got melo?

Amare was a great signing, the melo trade just ruined it for him.
