I'm thinking of taking it while it is still at -4.

#2It appears that is the direction the public is going. I am staying away but if I had to choose a side, it would be Minnesota. Best of luck!Comment -

#3Two bad teams. Minnesota is playing more competitively than the Nets lately. I would grab them laying 4.Comment -

#4New Jersey has won 17% of its road games.
Minnesota has won 43% of its home games.
I think Minnesota is a good play here if the last 10 games played hold up similarly.Comment -

#5I got nervous about giving a team like the Wolves that many points, even if it is against the Nets. I went ahead and did an ML parlay with them and the Spurs.Comment -

#8I like the Nets here. Both bad Minny playing better. Nets have been competitive in most of their games this season other then this last stretch, i think its a good spot for them to get a road win. Last year Nets lost to the Wolves 2 times on last second plays, i think they will have a bit of luck today.Comment -

#14Is this the only thing you bring to the discussion? What the teams winning % is on the road? I see you throw that into every single game discussion you are involved it. I'm pretty sure even the most average Joe or Joes can on on Nba.com and see what a teams road record is.
I think there is a lot more to it.
Are they covering the spread?
Are all the games close games?
I'm just trying to understand your statement.Comment -

#15Fine, you still didn't answer my question. How is a team that has won 17% of its road games competitive on the road? This is what you said "Nets have been competitive in most of their games this season". I'm just trying to understand that comment.

And yes, you are understanding my statement, they have been in close games and they have been covering the spread. 16-15 ATS on the season and 8-8 ATS on the road is a far cry from the 17% you're talking about. Covers has their ATS a bit different by just by 1 or 2 games, the record is still close to a respectable .500. This is also scwed a bit by the recent stretch where they have not played well which i mentioned in my post also.
Mainly i like them because of the 2 games last season, i know its different teams but i know the Nets remember those games. They were on the verge on an all time loss record and gave away 2 games to what was their competition for worst team in the league. Those 2 hurt and they had some bad luck in those games so i think the new coaching staff looked on those and will have this new team up for this game, also considering that they are not playing well this is the game to break out of it.
I'm taking the points for sure, maybe the ML.
I am a Nets fan though, and i usually do not bet on them. Whatever thats worth.Comment -

Digging up the insight was pretty simple, I looked up the number of teams won on the road vs the number of teams played and divided, the answer was 17% wins on the road.
You should try it, maybe you would win a bet once in a while.Comment -
