I agree. That is if Phoenix doesn't shock everyone. But if it's Lakers/Boston, which you know the league wants, you know that Kobe is probably still seething from 2008 finals. I think Artest can be physical with Pierce to where Paul will be whining so much to the officials it will throw him off. If Odom plays like he can Celtics can't match up with him. But you never know what you will get with Odom. Jackson won't let the Lakers be unprepared from the outset like Orlando was. Had Orlando been mentally ready from the outset of the series I think there would have been a game 7 or maybe even Orlando winning in 6. You can't wait till you are down 3-0 to get competitive. There is a major difference between the leadership of Kobe Bryant compared to Vince Carter or Dwight Howard. Kobe has that assassin's mentality that all the great ones have.

Rondo is so much better now I think Bos gives them all kinds of problems. If the Odom plays to his potential (????) and Gasol plays well then it should be a great series to watch. If Bynum can't do much and Odom doesn't show I think Bos has great chance of taking down LA. This is assuming that LA takes down PHX.

the thing is, Boston has worn themselves out they had a tough road going thru #1 and 2 w/out HC.

LA has taken it easy, guys executing, shooting good, rebounding to win at home. they didn't give half a shit playing on the road vs OKC, and vs PHX they just tried to go out and outshoot them again like at home. yeah, didn't work but they never fell apart...went back home, shot badly but still did the intangibles to eek out the win. now they are due for the big closeout game on the road just like last year.

and sweeping the jazz didn't even take 4 dominant performances...the jazz just have that inferior complex to LA they fold late after always being right there.

the Lakers have yet to show their best yet, saving it for the Finals for a reason.

WOW!!! the Suns are are sucking the life right out of the Lake show,, Kobe has played how many full games with no rest now? While Nash is sleeping on the bench,, with that said the Lakers are still fighting for their playoff lives........................
