The NBA is a long running soap opera and to make a few bucks here and there ya gotta keep up with the story lines. Stats sheets are a big help in other leagues and other sports but in the NBA it's all about the week to week drama.

The Knicks have sucked all year but a couple of games ago they caught a rode weary Suns team and won in double overtime. The momentum carried over next game when the blew out a crappy Wizards team. Larry Brown was going to turn this team around eventually and good chance this mini winning streak might be the start of said turn around.

Today they get a Sonics team that has had a week full of drama. Coach got fired then they pull together and win one for the new Coach and they go to Detroit where they play their asses off then, just when the team is poised to make a final run to pull off the upset, Coach tries to trip a Pistons player in the act of shooting a 3. Momentum swings back to Pistons and they lose by double digets (and blow the cover).

It will be tough for the Sonics to regroup mentally and emotionally on the road after that fiasco and beat a Knicks team that thinks they are good all of a sudden.

you know it's gotta be tough on ray allen, when he scored 33 points today in a losing effort. the sonics have to learn how to play a little defense if they want to regain there form from last season.
