    NBA injuries report 5/07

    Cleveland
LeBron James has been battling tendinitis for weeks now and was wincing at times during Monday's Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Celtics. He will no longer need a second MRI on his injured elbow and will be ready for Friday's Game 3. Still he is listed as probable to play tonight.
Anderson Varejao left Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Celtics in the third quarter with back spasms and did not return. His back is feeling better and it sounds like he may practice on Thursday and is expected to play in Game 2 Friday.
Both players are listed as 'probable' to play.

    Boston
Kevin Garnett missed Wednesday's practice with a mild strain in the middle of his right foot but practiced fully on Thursday and is set to play in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals Friday against the Cavaliers.
Kendrick Perkins did not practice Wednesday with a hyperextended right knee he originally suffered during the pregame shootaround Monday but is fully expected to play in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals Friday against the Cavaliers.

    Phoenix
Robin Lopez did not play in Wednesday's Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Spurs while he continues to recover from a bulging disc in his back. He will travel with the team to San Antonio but there is no timetable on when he might appear in a game.

    San Antonio
No injuries reported for this team.
