SA/PHO under 205.5 is a golden opportunity for Game 3
I can't believe Vegas didn't adjust the total, given the fact that the game is in SA and the Spurs are going to be in desperation mode -- which means they'll lean on their D and half-court sets now more than ever.
I was wrong on the unders in Games 1 and 2, but I'm doubling up on the under here and don't think it will miss.
Well, in theory, SAS will lean on their D and half-court sets. But in reality, they may not be able to.
These totals have been pretty sharp the entire series. I don't see any reason to believe otherwise.
Good idea.I also think it is a better play on the spurs taking the under. Chances are likely if this game goes over then san an don't cover. San an isn't going to cover a game in the 100's imo. The need to win 101-92 type game to have a shot to cover.

The only way this could backfire if you like the Spurs' chances in Game 3 is if they win like 109-98. I just don't see that many points being scored, and I don't see SA winning by that much, either. I'm predicting 103-97 or so.
Sounds about right to me as well. When I saw that total posted I immediately thought it was high for a game being played i San An. Spurs will try to do everything they can to make this a half court game. That is there only chance.

this series has nothing to do with the coaches anymore- i thought that before but its obvious the suns have too many horses and the spurs are outclassed in this series. if the spurs win game 3 it wont have anything to do with coaching.
combined both teams shot about 44% from 3-pt range last game. i dont think that will happen in san antonio. plus the spurs will get some more calls, Phoenix will be hard pressed to score 95+, look at what they did in portland..............i like the spurs 100-93, so under

I am with you on this, last game looked like it was going under at numerous times and the D fell apart at the end. This time it's due.

I'm on the other side here. I think if SA wants to beat Phoenix they have to out run 'em. SA has shown they arent able to slow them down all season.

dremember sun can almost jack up 200 them self. the only way spurs make it under kill the time and juice 24 second every time.
I'm on the Suns and the over. I agree with LB - don't think this has anything to do with coaching anymore. It has to do with the desire and ability of a team to win. Plus the Suns have my Nashy boy. Enough said.

lets not outthink ourselves if 5 of 5 games have gone over 210, then it's likely that 75-80% of the games in this series will go over 205... so lets keep betting the over until we see a few unders... if you can win 75% of your bets in the long run you will make money

It depends on which side will control the tempo/pace of the game. If Spurs win, total may stay under 205. If Suns win, game may went over the total.

Spurs can win and cover an over game. More likely than the Suns winning an under game, at least.
