in the west you can argue there is a lot more moving around to be done, but if teams cared enough I would imagine oklahoma city would put out enough to beat goldenstate last night, i mean if they cared. Also in the west none of the bottom half teams can get home court except for phx, which is something to care about...so add phx to the list..but in general none of the games are worth shit

i understand what you said, you are saying there are many teams with same records in the west.
however, they are playing for seeds, to determine who they play in the first round

but how are we supposed to know if for instance the spurs are fine playing the lakers instead of the mavs.
leave the bullshit to happen for the next few days and bet the playoffs, where you obviously can't question if a team "wants" to win or not

Isn't it in the non-playoff teams interest to lose though? To increase their chances of getting the top pick? I know a lot of players wouldn't tank on purpose but I'm guessing teams that have no chance of making the playoffs aren't especially motivated either so it seems like it would be a wash.
