Tonight so far I am leaning the OKC THUNDER -3.5 and PORTLAND TRAILBLAZERS -4. I still have to do a little research and watch some line movement but those are my two leans thusfar. 44% of the public is on the Thunder and only 28% is on the Blazers.

OKC lost their last game ouright to the Suns at home and the line was OKC -6.5. I think we are getting a great value line with the Thunder because of the result of the last game. Other than Durant and Westbrook nobody showed up in that game for OKC and they STILL almost beat the Suns. The three other starters shot a combined 28% and the rest of the team shot a combined 36%

OKC is just really nasty coming off a upset loss as a favorite, they are 8-3ATS in this situation. Also OKC hasn't dropped two in a row at home since early December. OKC has been very strong all year against good teams going 27-16 ATS. OKC is also 12-3 ATS on fridays which would definitely put them up their at the top for this particular day. OKC has dropped two straight and I just think they are the better team overall and they have home court advantage. I think they pull this one out by around 6-9 points.

I am liking the under in the OKC/PHX game. There is heavy rlm on this game as the public is on the over yet the line has dropped from 222.5 to 219 now, that's 3.5 points of movement. Vegas is reverse dropping this line despite the fact that the last two games in this matchup went over the posted total. The over looks like a trap. Phoenix is not the over machine they once were going 35-40-3 O/U thusfar this year.

The three refs all favor the under big time.

I really like the Rockets today. Public is loving the bobcats because they are a playoff team and need to win and rockets are playing for nothing. Line opened at hou -1 and went to -2 with public pounding bobcats. Charlotte is downright terrible on the road with a 12-26 record on the road. Rockets are feeling a bit confident coming into tonight since they came off an upset win last game.

I really don't know what Joe Public is thinking pounding Dallas. Portland has beat them three times this year already and won by 12 last game at home just two weeks ago. I have been watching the Blazers play a lot lately and this team is really rolling right now. The synergy on this team is very good. All of the players are playing their role and their is no ego's. The only thing I don't like on this game is the fact that they are going for the four game sweep, it's very hard to do but I just think the Blazers have their number. It is nice to see though that a huge majority of the public is on Dallas and the line has not moved yet, would be nice to see some RLM on this game.

No not necessarily. If that was the case then I doubt that the Cavs would have been such a huge public play when the line first game out. I doubt sharps were pounding the Cavs when that line first opened up. Every sharp I know was pounding Bulls.

To be honest none of this meant anything to me. I had -1.5 and the closing line was -7, I was on the right side no doubt. But I don't care about that game, it's over and done with.

I am rolling with the Thunder but I am going to stay off the Blazers even though I believe it is the correct play. The line has gone up to -5 and I don't want to lay that many points with the Blazers having to complete the four game sweep.

sj55, this is what i got, from a noob's POV. i really like okc tonight. the thing thats holding me back is that the phx is hott right now. do you think that okc would be satisfied with the 8th seed? if not, they will be fighting for a better position. you said teams that are fighting for a position tend to play nervously, or something like that, and tend to fukk up. didnt look at the stats coz ive learned that stats dont mean nothing (learned that from master LB). another point leading to fade okc is one of the autobets. "Teams say undergod by 3-5 points win a lot on fridays."

i also would not bet the blazers. dallas are a better road than home team. if marion is out, would that be good or bad? ive seen a lot of trends saying if a player is out, the others seem to step up. oh i think thats what LAL did thats why we got the push yesterday.

Both teams are fighting for better position in the playoffs so I think both teams will be playing with the same nervousness, not too worried about that.

As for the trend about players being out, it's only really star players out. Like Bosh, Lebron, Kobe big name guys like that. Marion isn't all that big a factor. Dallas is much better on the road though and to lay 5 with the Blazers at this point is too much for me. I was going to play it -3.5 -117 earlier but I didn't so I am just laying off.

Yes a lot of 3-6 point dogs win on fridays. In paritcular though it's mostly the opening line 5.5 homedogs that do very, very well on fridays

Those are the numbers NOW. Earlier today before the injury report was out for Charlotte, the public was pounding Charlotte. Once the injury report came out the line jumped immediately and the public switched sides on this game as you would always expect.

To be honest sharper I am not really that good on 2H totals as I rarely play them and don't really know of too many profitable angles on that. It doesn't seem like the two teams can score any less next half, they both shot very poor the 1H. I would lean over 2H as the 1H went under by so many but Portland is probably the best defensive team in the NBA.
