    breaking news...Bosh to Cleveland.
This is just in: cavs & raptors are putting the final touches on Bosh's sign'n'trade deal. Cavs & James are talking with Bosh trying to convince him to except the deal.

I think he would except the deal but not accept it. Bosh not going to Cleveland. Also, you didn't mention who Toronto would be getting in return.

Chris Bosh: Cavs haven't contacted Chris Bosh

Chris Bosh - F/C - TOR - Jul. 6 - 7:37 am et The Cavs haven't contacted free agent Chris Bosh, a source tells Newsday's Alan Hahn.
The Cavs should be exploring any sign-and-trade avenues they have to get LeBron another superstar to play with, but there just doesn't seem to be any out there. The Raptors would be able to get more out of the Rockets or Mavericks. Jul. 6 - 7:37 am et

Sorry pal, it's a done deal. Toronto's getting Varejao, West and possibly Hickson. This news is only 15 min old.

Certainly wouldn't surprise me that Lebron would want this. But my understanding all along was Bosh wanted no part of Cleveland. Maybe he'll change his mind, but I tend to doubt it at this point.

I think Bosh will put the Ki-bosh on this.

Chicago still seems like the most likely option for Bosh. Miami doesn't have the pieces to do it in a trade. NJ is possible, but no one will join him there. I still think it's Bosh to the Bulls and then either Lebron or Wade will join him.

Raptors agree to sign and trade with Cavs for Bosh

Now, Lebron and Cavs are trying to sell it to Bosh

This could get good in a hurry

I don't understand why Toronto would want to do that.. But then again, I never understood why the Timberwolves gave up KG for nothing, Lakers traded Shaq for nothing, Memphis trading Gasol for nothing, and why the Hawks gave JJ that insane contract.....

The Raptors have reportedly told the Cavaliers that they would do a sign-and-trade with them for Chris Bosh.

The report by ESPN's Chris Broussard goes on to say, "Cavs and LeBron working to convince Bosh to join them in Cleveland." This seems to indicate that LeBron will remain with the Cavaliers, but we likely won't know for sure until at least Thursday. The notion of a LeBron-Bosh pairing in Cleveland is fairly novel, but AP writer Tom Withers warns that "reports of a sign-and-trade...[are] very premature."

                      Source: Chris Broussard via Twitter

                      ---------

Certainly not the 'done deal' that you said. The biggest hurdle here of course is that Bosh doesn't want to go to Cleveland. Rather major hurdle, I'd say.

And my understanding is that Bosh to Miami is dead, mostly because Toronto doesn't want anything that Miami is offering. Then the fly in the ointment here is that Wade wants Bosh too and he has the chance on the table to go to Chicago with Bosh. Bosh in the middle. Does he go to Cleveland with Lebron or go to Chicago with Wade (or Lebron if Lebron wants)? I mean, if I'm Bosh I'd rather play in Chicago #1 and #2 quite honestly he's got a better chance of winning on that Chicago team with Rose, Wade, Deng and Noah rather than Cleveland with Lebron and not much else and #3 he doesn't want to play center...he would have to in Cleveland, but in Chicago he'd have Noah to do the dirty work, but not take points from him. Bulls are the better situation for Bosh.

Lebron trying the hard sell, but is it gonna work? I don't think so.

I think first thing to happen Thurs. will be the S+T with Bosh to Chicago. Then it falls to Lebron/Wade to see who the first to bite will be, with both having open offers to join Bosh on Chicago....or they may have it arranged ahead of time.

Bosh to Cleveland would be a very good pickup---I think that's a best case scenario for them.He can play center or forward and LeBron can play forward or guard----plus role players----very ideal for Cleveland fans

Chicago doesnt have the pieces for a sign and trade... for Bosh to sign with Chicago, he would be leaving $30 million on the table by declining a sign and trade to Cleveland.

It's been pretty clear that Toronto would rather do a trade with Houston as oppose to Cleveland.

They do, and without Noah too. It doesn't have to match dollar-for-dollar. Taj Gibson, James Johnson, multiple #1's and cash is on the table and, as I understand it, acceptable to Toronto.

Cleveland can do it too, but Bosh doesn't want to play there. He's willing to play either Chicago or Miami, but Miami doesn't have the pieces.

Like I said, I think Bosh forces the issue on Thursday and has Tor do a S+T with the Bulls. Then it will be up to Lebron and Wade, and if neither join him the Bulls will still have cash to sign a player or two to fill out the guard spots (maybe Ray Allen or Kyle Korver).

Reebok flew him on a private jet, the day before his prom and offered him a 10 million dollar check on the spot as a signing bonus... Nike and Addidas was woo'ing him at the same time as well.

I'd like him to decide soon, really over all the talk. Reminds me of all the Farve saga.

No matter what happens if James stays in Clev, Delonte is gone. I'm sure Cavs would love to get Bosh for Jamison and West. Varejo is a piece they don't want to part with.
