that terrible San Antonio pick was the best thing that ever happened to my capping.. after that I saw things much more clearly.. but still too early to tell. Couple of wins don't mean anything, could be blind luck.

Still, hard to see INDY scoring 65 in the 2H for Under 114 Total pts not to cover. Unless OT. could always happen, always seems to at the worst possible moment.

    so far, so good.

Laughing as Brooklyn runs away with it.

Charlotte able to go interior, Nets have awful rim protection but in today's NBA the Golden State Warriors proved you can dominate shooting pop-a-shot. If you're Charlotte you have to feel like you're dealing with a runaway train. On the break Nets are dominant.

When you put Watanabe and Simmons (both out) with Warren this team is brutal to play against. In my opinion. Vaughn is playing guys off the bench who are hot, which is all you want from a basketball coach (no favorites). His only favorite is Durant.

Nets won but blew the spread. Lack the maturity to finish teams off, they become more like the globetrotters

Nets futures actually went up in value after a 5-1 homestand, granted against easy teams.

I put futures in on the Nets when they were in 10th place, now they're virtually tied for 4th and I coulda gotten better odds now. So they improved their record bigtime, but lost ground.
Key is they lost to the Celtics. Without Simmons who could have cooled off Brown, and a poor shooting night, but it doesn't matter.

So where did the money go? Seems it's all about the Celtics. +152 to win the East, it was +200 just a few days ago. right now, in the East, it's about the Celtics, the Bucks have a chance. Do I believe that no, but what do I know, the oddsmakers disagree with me. Until the Nets can beat that boogeyman, the Boston Celtics, they have no chance.

And as I speak, I look up at the score, it's Celtics 49-39 at Phoenix right now lol

The next great team for the decade, the Boston Celtics.

Celtics solid. Nets have serious talent, and also serious problems (Kyrie). Always sabotaging team and self, with selfish behavior. Cause would have won 3 Rings if he stayed there, and accepted that LeBron better than him.

Yeah kyrie never did accept lebron fully. In lebron's prime

Watching blake griffin start the 2nd half for the celtics. 4 game sweep last year nash wouldn't give him 10 seconds until the 4th q of game 4

I believe the nets can beat the celtics, but they need ben simmons to do it. Whether it's tatum or brown you are not going off on simmons.

As you said the nets are loaded with talent. If vaughn can rotate a 9 or 10 man bench they can stay with those jerks and not get tired by the 2h

Course you still got kyrie but...he's not playing a ton of minutes as vaughn has his eye on sumner. He's magical on offense but his defense flat sucks

88 49 celtics at phoenix lol

Legler saying the Celtics are on another level. Screens.

    1. It's the regular season.
    2. You can say the Celtics will screen out Simmons from Brown or Tatum. But when you focus your offense on screening an individual player, it helps the rest of the team focus on the screen, so the confusion is gone. It doesn't work as well as imagined. And Simmons is a shut down defender who can defend every move of either Brown or Tatum. Every move.

What the Celtics are going to do to the Nets is the same plan on defense. Get physical with praying mantis/slim Kevin Durant, double him and force him to pass the ball and give up on the play using your height. Get up close to his shots. If you're Vaughn, you have got to figure that out. The obvious answer is move the ball, but that's easier said than done.
