Embiid is a far better defender, scorer, rebounder, and player.

Philadelphia for most of game 1 and 2 couldn't even compete with Miami, with Embiid on the floor they led for 90% of games 3 and 4. Harden was nothing without Embiid, now he has legs in the 4th to score 31 as he did in game 4. Jokic is sitting at home after getting obliterated in all but 2 games against a Warriors team that is nothing special, Curry isn't healthy. If Jokic was as good as Embiid he would have kept his team competitive, he couldn't.

In games 3 and 4 with Embiid, Philadelphia outscored Miami by 30 points if you combine games 3 and 4.

Philadelphia was 60 points better with Embiid on the court, and here's why.

Miami shot 39% with Embiid protecting the rim and dominating defensively in games 3 and 4.

Miami shot 47% with Embiid off the floor in games 1 and 2.

Miami scored 15 more points per game with Embiid off the floor - and Embiid isn't even healthy, he's playing with broken bones in his face and a mask.

Embiid averaged 30 points per game to Jokic's 26, and Embiid dominated defensively while Jokic barely played defense.

Again, the analytics here mean nothing because Denver was a far better defensive team with better defensive personnel than Philadelphia, Embiid held Philadelphia up defensively as anyone watching the Miami series can see.


Embiid is better at everything than Jokic except passing, Embiid shot 37% from 3 this year, Jokic shot only 33%.

Embiid is the MVP, and its not close. Anyone watching the Miami series can see that.

Philly went from not being competitive to having a chance to win a series against a top team in the NBA because of Embiid. Embiid offense and defense are on another level from Jokic.

Embiid also had a far tougher schedule than Jokic, the Eastern conference was far better than the West. Memphis was the 2 seed in the West, they'd be swept by the 3 seed in the East, Milwaukee.
