Irving won that series for James. Guy averaged like 35 ppg in the last 3 games they won. Shit on Klay Thompson. Also hit the biggest shot of the series. No Irving = no ring for James. Great Robin for him. Not as good as Wade was but decently close.

Next part of Irving's game is defense. He's been studying Kobe tape I hear.

I have been watching NBA since the 70s. Boston Celtics fan the whole time. BUT I still take Magic over Larry. To me, how they play and how they lead makes me consider how high I value a player.

Said it before, Harden just another me first player who will never lead a team to the chip. George Gervin comes to mind, but I appreciated Gervin`s style a whole lot more than Harden.

And unlike Curry, he was actually hitting those shots in primetime. He's an impossible person to cover.

Even when Durant was like 23 years old or whatever and went up against Bron in the finals, he was the only guy on that OKC team that showed up and lit it up. That was against Bron in his defensive prime too.

KD is one of the best players in history to me. He'll be knocking on the top 10 all time when it's all said and done. Book this post.
Your not exactly breaking the original thought realm or barrier with that. In fact it's not even a minority thought. Many elite defenders, players and coaches alike have repeatedly said over the yrs that Durant is a once in a lifetime special talent. Jordan himself said that Durant is in the Kobe/lebron argument. You want credit for making an obvious assessment?

He might be top 20. But he's very meh to me.

I think he shot 1 for 15 until the 4th quarter the one televised game against the Lakers they had.

As of now, Harden is a better player than Doncic. He's going to go down as one of the best scorers ever. And Doncic isn't a good defender at all. He's actually horrible on that end, so that's why he doesn't crack a top 5 for me right now.

Guy is so young. Doncic is no where near his prime, and Harden is right in it, so to me it's not really a fair comparison right now. When it comes to playoffs, Harden will clean his clock. 3 years from now, Doncic will be better than Harden. Just a different generation.

In terms of pure scoring the best 3 scorers ever imo are Jordan Bryant and Harden

I don't think that list will ever change, and if it ever does, gonna be decades before it does.

No white guy will ever be a great player, he is very good that is all
Harden just a stat filler also, these type players can never ever win titles, horrific shooting %

Durant a game changer tall, defends and scores

Midgets like Irving laughable , he and Harden have zero will to win also

Complete teams win and tall teams win

I think Kawhi's the best all around player right now. I like Westbrook right behind him. He's 31 so once he starts losing a step or two it'll be magnified by his poor shooting. His quickness and explosiveness is what gives him the edge.

This forum? The majority of this forum hates basketball, longs for the days when non euro white guys were basketball relevant and only care about the spread. There are a few individual posters who have good insight but not nearly enough compared to the majority.

Harden is a bum compared to the greats, the guy is a literal beggar on the street for calls from the refs for free throws. A beggar for free throws can never be considered an all time great scorer. Durant was always a better scorer than harden anyway

Only one guy has said kawhi is currently the best and it's hard for me to argue with that correct answer despite my stubborn tendencies to favor pre injury Durant. One answer out of how many? That should answer your question about this forum when it comes to bball goat

Who do I think or who do I want lb? I rly want to see the Lakers win one now for Kobe despite LeBron being an all time bitch.

The clippers rly threaten with this entire pandemic/bubble thing rly favoring them. Lakers were rolling and clips had never gelled pre pandemic. They've got arguably the best everything from player to coach to bench to secondary and even tertiary stars

If it is simply Top 10 All Time NBA player, Durant has a way to go. By joining forces with Kyrie and his boatload of baggage

Except that doncic actually makes hustle plays to try and win that don't show up in box scores or agent negotiating talk. The only things harden hustles towards is the free throw line and strip clubs

We're about to find out with doncic in the big games, he has yet to play in any. Harden on the other hand is down right pathetic. That dumbfukk look on his face in elimination games when he realizes he's not getting touch fouls and free throws from the refs like a regular season night

Doncic hasn't won any big games? Good grief! Eurobasket champ, Euroleague champ ---both as a teen going against grown men. He is good in big games.

OK. I strongly disagree. But if KD actually leads the Nets to a chip, he should be in the conversation for sure.

Dom you've got to be excited about the C's future. Brown and Tatum could be a rly special duo for yrs if they stay together. That's a nightmare combo on both ends of the floor.

Recently enes kanter who has played on several teams with some of the biggest, strongest and best athletes in the NBA said that without a doubt he's taking Marcus Smart hands down in a street fight over anyone. Thought that was pretty telling

I am excited, and am looking forward to see the growth of the young pups. Could be a fun team.
Now, for the first few seasons, I really liked Richie Cunningham. Now it is time for him to be a little less Mr. Rogers and and a tad bit of Bobby Knight. ( I am referring to the Celtic coach, Brad Stevens for those of you wondering )
