In. Before pandemic, I would have thought I'd miss sports too much. But actually not so bad. Sick and tired of the hypocrisy of these athletes. I won't support them anymore.

i wish enough people would stop watching these leagues now, giving enough time they would change big time and just maybe the golden goose would not be so golden..we really need something like this imo to change the bs that is going on with our sports today. the politics of these players and the money they get now are so stupid

No sport will look worse then the NBA without fans. It will be awful to watch. NBA players thrive on crowds and one of the biggest advantages in the NBA playoffs is home court. Teams don't even show up for road games. Now with none of that a factor it will make capping it even harder then it already was. I'm not interested in watching that's for sure. I will probably bet some games.

I'd be lying if I said I am totally 100 percent blowing off the NBA for good.
I will watch only a very few select games, maybe a game a week, but I am so sour on the NBA right now it's going to take me awhile if ever to get back into it.
I won't put nearly the amount of time and energy I did in the past on trying to figure out their shitty product.
If there's one thing I learned from all these COVID related sports event cancellations is that I can live just fine without sports.
It wasn't really that much of an adjustment either.
Thing is though most of us have attention spans of a common garden slug and we may say we are swearing off the NBA or whatever for good but in two weeks a good portion of us will forget why we were pissed off at the players, unions, owners, etc. etc. and be glued to the TV set watching the same old crap again as if nothing ever happened.

I haven't liked regular season NBA for a long time, but right now, I'd love to sit at work and watch some NBA. If you allow actions of others to dictate your emotions, then it's you that needs the help. Let these kids express themselves just like you would if you believed in something. Especially while young with a lot of maturity yet to come.
