    Irving—moody baby

    Durant—primadonna

Deandre Jordan— a worse ft shooter than my grandma

Gotta think Nets will be overrated ATS. Don't like that lineup at all.

i grew up in that time frame and became a mets/knicks fan as well. my how the mighty have fallen. Brooklyn will be little brother, but with knicks being so far down this will be their moment of shine. and that '15 series feels like either it was 50 years ago, or feels like i just dreamed it looking at the mets now. shameful to be the worst managed team on and off the field.

lol Jordan was a good free throw shooter last year. I think he was actually close to 80%!

But he can't really jump anymore, Allen will be the starter.

allen was the oldest 20 year old i ever saw other than lebron and greg oden. so how much did Deandre get to be a backup? i think he will start and allen plays a lot of minutes.

You're probably right, I meant more that Allen's a better player at this point but Jordan being the veteran still probably commands the starting role.

Just a guess on the what current starting lineup would be:

    Irving
    Harris
    Levert
    Kurucs
    Jordan

Not bad...but not going to dominate anybody.

damn. Deandre averaged 11 pts and 14 boards with dallas last year before trade to knicks. still not seeing how much nets paid him. can't believe reddick went to pels. guess he really wanted that 2 year deal cause he's 35.

gonna be a lot like celtics until kd gets there. lot of scrappy guys that played good together and now confusion as kyrie comes in. he is not the passer russell is, but he has to find ways to get guys involved.

Agree w all but despite his character flaws pre injury Durant was best player in league. I can’t stand him but just the truth.

I don’t blame the Knicks for not offering Durant a max contract because of the Achilles

It would be interesting to know if the Knicks saw Durant's medicals before deciding not to give him a max, they asked for them.

    Are you a dr?

He could just as easily be best player in league again in 2020.

Reports out Dolan didn't want to offer the max because of the injury as a Knicks season ticket holder I can live with it. Don't want another Amare situation

Star players being trading everywhere these days.. Not fair to fans. I think it's out of control if you ask me.. Get a new superstar and new lineup every year now in every major city as it seems.

So much for riding out your career with one team and getting your jersey retired and put up in the rafters. Maybe even getting your statue made and put in front of the arena. That's old hat now.

You're both right but history says KD will never be the same.

Once again the Nets sign 2 stars too little-too late

    I don't think they'll ever win a title.

    1. I'm not sure how well KD will recover
    2. Kyrie is a headcase
    3. KD is a headcase
