76ers just won the free agency period

Got rid of human cigarette Jimmy Butler

Got better players in horford and jrich than Tobias and butler could've been alongside embiid

They will move forward and stay winning without hampering the development of Simmons

Gonna be them and Boston next yr in the east regardless of what kawhi does

they got a little better defensively without sacrificing too much shooting capability by swapping Richardson & Horford for Redick & Butler. teams can't just pick on one guy down there now like they did vs Redick. they are legit on that side of the floor. they still lack offensive identity to me though. who's team is it? whats their style? They tried playing though Embiid vs Toronto & those guys shut him down with double teams. forcing their hand to rotate the ball to Ben Simmons in the corner. and when they didn't double team, Embiid was playing real soft down there taking fadeaway jumpers all game. Ben is still a liability until he can hit an open shot. they got some things to prove but that is a solid starting 5 no doubt.

Will Horford and Embiid work? Both guys are pretty slow. How would they defend in today’s NBA? Horford really going to try to guard quick stretch PF’s? Also think pace may tough with that front court.

Simmons is my probably the most talented pg in transition in the league

    but is not Philly fierce

    D lil is Philly fierce
I could get a cheese steak , and watch 4 squads that got next who could all eat him up

    jimmy butler something different

    he ride or die

but with all that being said

I ain’t mad at Ben be 23 cash checks fukk bitches

fanhood is a waste of time

    fukk Louisville

    make money and enjoy life

    cash tickets

Philadelphia is likely done, I watched all their games, live in the area, Butler was the only one who stepped up in the playoffs, Harris plays no defense and Horford is going to be 33, he's getting old and is slow, this team isn't likely winning anything.

Agree Simmons is great in transition, but Embiid can't play fast and Simmons isn't consistent in the half court because he can't shoot, I don't see it likely working.

JJ a loss for sure but he was ALWAYS a major liability on defense, teams would target him repeatedly

Richardson the 3 and D swing Philly has needed all along

Harris and horford are going to stagger the forward spots but mainly free up embiid. Horford gonna keep firing away from 3

All this chatter about Simmons and a broken jumpshot means nothing. He's going to be avging close to a true or organic trip dub next yr unlike the fake ones westbrick had. The improvement is otw for Simmons, most improved player award in the cards

Richardson is a good player, underrated, improved his perimeter shooting a lot, but he's had a lot of issues staying healthy.

    Look I know hoops

sixers shoulda moved Tobias and simmons

brought in kemba with Joel and kept jimmy

brought in shooters and depth with plenty of cap

they woulda won east with ease this year

Philly is adopting the Rockets philosophy: build your team to take out your biggest threat

This team is built to match up with Bucks. they can switch everything defensively. throw diff looks at Giannis. clog the lanes but stay agile enough to play the passing lanes & close out shooters. they need to build that bench up though. im sure the Morris twins would love to come home to Philly

    Which you and I know

Does not work RE: Rockets philosophy

76ers hardly won anything in FA, good luck to them this season is all I can say. You can have a bunch of puzzle pieces but if they don’t fit...well

Sixers best scenario now is 2nd round exit

they had 2 years to strike

following next 3-4 years Brooklyn cake walks

    knicks fans done again

but the jazz , nuggets , & Mavs gonna make Portland and lakers work in 7 game series

Kyrie is always hurt and Durant coming off an ACL, Toronto is still the best team in the East if Kawhi comes back, Siakam will get better and Toronto will move on from Gasol after this year.

25 teams have no shot at a championship before the season even starts

Speaking of which, Houston to win next year would be a good bet at +3000 or more. All of a sudden Lakers are the NBA favorite to win it all as of now before kawhi signs anywhere.

I don't buy it, with gsw out of the picture give me the team with the same meat and potatoes pieces along with some playoff experience together

The big question with Philadelphia is if Embiid will grow up and get his conditioning down instead of having 20 chocolate milkshakes a day so he can actually play a full season, if he does Philadelphia has a good shot to win the East.
