    The Pelicans Just Robbed The Bank......!

    They went from mediocre to pretty darn scary in the blink of an eye.

    Zion, Jrue Holliday, Ingram, Hart, Lonzo, the 4th pick in this year's draft (which they could consider trading for a quality veteran) and a bunch of other 1st rounds picks......for a disgruntled, often-injured AD who only had one year left in New Orleans anyway.

    They made out like bandits.

    Lebron and Davis will be injured most of the season. When Lebron doesn't make the playoffs again he would blame it on Davis. So any failure the Lakers would have next year is taken off Lebron's shoulders.

    Davis was injured this year for half the season and Lebron was injured too half the season. They would be one year older next year and the laws of physics say they would most likely be injured again due to aging bodies breaking down faster.

    The Lakers were terrible with Randle, Ball, Ingram, Hart.

    Why would the Pelicans be any better with those guys + a rookie Zion?

    Pelicans will be in the lottery for the next 2 seasons. Lakers will at least be in the playoffs, although I think the Nuggets and Rockets will be the favorites

    Pelicans got the most they could get but you can never replace an AD. Those draft picks will be late first round which are crapshoot, except this years early pick (4th right?). You can't cap injuries, so no one knows what the future holds for both teams.
