Has nothing to do with Raptors. If Green-Iguodala-Cousins could should free throws than Warriors would win this game by 10.

Not hating. I gave plenty of credit to the Raptors. It is what it is though. Not gonna lose sleep over them winning it. I’m not a Warriors fan. Just see it for what it was. They won in ‘15 because of injuries, and now they lost because of injuries. If you don’t think the series ends differently if KD, and Klay are out there then I don’t know what to tell you.

True... But that doesn’t speak highly of the Raps

Those are not 3 great players and still if they hit ft’s, dubs win.

I think the Raptors would have won with a healthy GSW. They are the best perimeter defending team in the league. They took away Curry and Clay in season and let Durant pound the ball. They beat GS both games in season and won 3 more in Oracle.

They absolutely could have beaten the Warriors in game 7 even if Klay was healthy but no way they would have beaten the warriors if Durant and Thompson were both healthy.

Calm down, injuries happen. The injuries have helped the Warriors out in past playoffs and this time it bit them in the ass.

    I don’t think they would’ve but we’ll never know

Thats the cruel truth, is that I wanted to see a good TEAM end the SUPERTEAMS dynasty. I wanted to see Toronto beat GS with Curry, Klay and KD. Unfortunately we never got to see how Toronto would’ve done against that team

They beat them in the regular season. Beat them in the playoffs with a healthy Klay and beat them when KD came back for a quarter. So it’s much more reasonable that Toronto beats a healthy GSW than the other way around. Toronto had the best record in the league. Was battle tested in crucial series and met every challenge. The Warriors coasted into the Finals and was not prepared when it counted the most. They need to fire their strength and conditioning coach and their medical staff.

And if Michael doesn't lose his father to murder then he doesn't leave the bulls in summer 93 and the rockets don't win the 94 and 95 titles

U play the hand you're dealt and the raptors did and they earned it period.

Raptors should have swept. One lucky run in game 2 and raptors shit themselves in game 5. Pretty sure raptors won 85% of the quarters.

I just think when you get to the finals multiple years the grind on your body adds up, the Warriors were a much better team than Toronto and everyone else when fully healthy, they just didn't care about the regular season. The regular season matchups between Toronto-GS key starters were out, Durant and Leonard basically are equals, that leave Curry and Thompson to outscore Siakam and Lowry, Warriors would have won the series if fully healthy.

KD scores 11 in 12 minutes with ease, yet somehow Toronto is gonna beat the champs with a healthy KD, and Klay. Got it.

Even as amazing as Raptors played

would of been extremely hard to beat Golden State with a healthy ,hungry Kevin Durant

Durant is a monster in the finals with Warriors

Klay played in most of the games though, they could have won the series had he stayed in,have it be last night or a game 7. Durant is a diffrent animal.

Hopefully this win by Toronto is enough for other teams to focus on playing good defense, good bench play, fundamentals, high % at the charity stripe, making the extra pass, and less on just stacking up on the top talent

Toronto’s strategy was to let KD pound the ball and guard everyone else. Eventually he would tire and their offense turned to shit by the 4th.

Dumb ass Kerr ran him like a thoroughbred horse at Santa Anita and his body couldn’t take the beating.

Huge 12 minute sample size you got there

Uh, nobody smart was betting on a healthy KD as anything more than a possibility. You know, because of the whole part where he wasn't healthy. He was too injured to play in finals games. The Finals are very important basketball games that superstars play in when they are able to. He probably wasn't just sitting out for the heck of it. I hope that is a simple enough breakdown for you

Agree, it would have been interesting to see what would have happened with Durant if they actually had brains and played him only 4-5 minutes in the first quarter, eased him back.

The Warriors swept the Cavs with LEbron and Kyrie when Durant was healthy, even if Toronto was better than that Clevleand team, GS would have handled them with in 6 at most.

It won't. No champ like this since 04 pistons. All other champs had superstars. 2 rings in 16 seasons for blue collar team is not enough to write a new blueprint

Yeah thats true but I think they could have taken the Warriors with him in the game. Just glad the Raptors won really,in the grand scheme of things none of the other stuff matters.

When you think about it, people have short changed the Warriors title wins in the past.

Toronto’s bench was so much better than GS’ Dleague teammates.

Kawhi Just as much Finals experience than anyone in the Finals. Gasol, vanvleet huge additions. Warriors horrible bench is the reason KD and Klay got hurt.
