    Irving is a winner plain and simple, he saved Lebron James's legacy by hitting that 3, without that James would have yet another loss in the finals, and he also saved them earlier in the series when he dropped 35 or 40 while Klay was guarding him...

    That series was finished, finito, if not for Irving.

    It's a series that cemented him in the hall of fame. Evn if he retired today, he'd make the hall of fame. That's how good he is. He's the closest thing to Allen Iverson that we've seen.

    Boston is full of clowns like Jaylen Brown and Tatum and Rozier and Smart and guys like that who think they're the shit. Not one of those guys is a number 1 option on a championship team. Irving probably isn't either, but those guys are children. They'll realize how hard it is to win a title soon enough, when the years go by and they don't sniff one, they'll come out and say "I wish I listened to Kyrie Irving."

    Boston definitely took a step backward. Now they’ll have to either lose too much to get Conley, or pay too much for Rozier, and in both cases they’re a weaker team without Irving. The Boston media and the Celtic fan base won’t be happy until they get a white superstar, and Haywood – who was their best hope – just can’t cut it anymore. Free agents don’t go there – Boston has a bad reputation – so Ainge can only hope to sucker some other team, like he did with Brooklyn and Cleveland, for a trade that will turn things around.

    I find it really odd that the Nets are going after Irving when they have Russell. Russell looked like the best pg in the East last season, and he's quite a bit younger too! I wonder if it's because Russell still has character issues, that are only being seen behind closed doors by Atkinson & staff ...otherwise the Nets are clueless.
