Are the Celtics really catching 4.5 at home against a young Philly team? I know Brown is out, but still seems like a lot.

Books have been pretty high on Sixers given their recent lines. Double digit faves over Miami and they were 3-4 point faves on the road in Miami. Looks like we will see similar lines for this series, might be a bit lower once Brown comes back. For whatever reason, books have been low on Celtics, making them small faves against Milwaukee in Boston and decent sized dogs on the road.

Boston might not be that great, but last series they showed they can hold home court.

Philly well rested. Boston's series went to 7. Also Brown's out. Philly wins this one in a blow-out. Game 2 will be close though.

Brown isn't some bit player/ role player. He's their best 2-way player on the perimeter. A tireless scorer and a strong defender. That said, the Celtics went 8-0 as the home dog ATS this season. They are resilient, and they have a terrific home court edge, so we'll see...

Sixers not the bucks, good coaching ain't gonna carry Boston vs this philly team I don't think. That said really couldn't blame ya for playing celts for 1 win in these 2 home games, prob right thing to do, I think philly will get 1 and flip home court but really don't see them winning both so value certainly on celts.

Don't know which night and neither do you. Prob be a split in Boston one way or the other. Coaching doesn't mean all that much in NBA, players do. Sure it can get you past a garbage team in round 1. Coaching will never beat superior team talent.
