    Embid has shown he is fragile and could end up more like Sam Bowie than Hakeem.
    Simmons is going to be really good, but has to be ball centric. Too much duplicity with LeBron.
    Only thing Philly has going for him is they are in the East.

    sammy my point being this was a freak injury. Guys obviously rebounded from the issues he had while starting his career.

    Where's the thread of all the guys hating on embiid last yr calling him a bum and a bust?

    We said when embiid would breakout this yr then that all the clowns would have to be dragged into town square and burn at the steak.

    LeBron, Simmons and Embiid is a trio that would be tough to beat. Everyone else on that team would have to be a bargain signing to get under that cap though. JJ Redick and Covington are already signed for a few years so there's no room for Dario Saric who is CLUTCH! I believe they have him for at least another year. Everyone else would have to be like Bellinelli and Ilyasova, veterans playing for a ring and guys on a rookie contract. Saric, Fultz and Richaun Holmes are all guys who can play but will never get a deal worth staying here. Saric will get paid when his time is up, the guy can do everything!

    very interesting. i had not heard that personally........ but i do see that a month ago 76ers were 3rd favourite to land lebron if he doesn't stay in cleveland (staying was #1 outcome, tied with houston)... surprised clippers not on the list, nor the heat ...... i agree that simmons is not complementary to james. not certain how complementary harden is either (although much more than simmons)
