The Los Angeles Lakers are back

You better believe it. Don't worry they won't win anything soon but the resurgence has begun.

    Hopefully no one.

Lebron is too much of a diva.

    Paul George is overrated.

    Boogie is hurt.

I would stand pat. Maybe re-sign Isaiah Thomas for a season.

I was hoping to hear no one... Trades rarely work out, especially with you teams developing chemistry and identity

KD worked out well to GSW because 1.) KD is a cuck and a beta, so he was fine just cucking, and 2.) GS was experienced

Hopefully the Lakers don't fukk this up

CincinnatiKid is probably right though. Isaiah is going to want a boatload. This will be his last chance at a big deal.

    He's a year away still. I wouldn't mind him in 2019.

True but his image has taken a beating recently with the C's trading him away and the Cavs both trading him after 20 games and shit talking him on the way out.

If he can't get the huge contract does he sign a massive one year contract in hopes of auditioning for his long term deal?

Hopefully. That's what Caldwell Pope did this season. He's only 24 though, Isaiah is 29. He's running out of time.

Totally. He is good. The thing is that he whined a lot in Cleveland. Did he whine in Boston? He just told the truth about the cavs . James is a disease. I would sign him to a one year deal.

James just thinks he’s the gift but he did win a couple times and he can draw crowds. I think la can win with him but paired up correctly.

What I'd be worried about most if I was a Lakers fan is that Jeannie Buss kept Kobe way too long because he people showed up and he sold jerseys. Basically, it was a business decision, not a basketball decision.

James is in that category as well

Exactly. No need for him. He won't go there anyways. He is a loser. We don't want him

She gave him that horrible contract because the Lakers were in the process of getting their own television channel, and the network wanted a big name player on the team. So, Kobe got rich. Well, richer.

You're right, it was a business decision.

Lebron is a little different. He can still perform. I'm just not sure he fits in, he might hinder the kids from growing organically.

Lebron is going to be a Laker. It's all part of the marketing scheme. Any wins is just a bonus.

Know he's stating behind the scenes that he may finish his career in Cleveland. I dont think people talking he's going somewhere are wrong.

Kobe was getting legacy money in that deal for what he didn't get paid for when he was younger with shaq. Last contract send off bonus.

Isaiah Thomas does work despite his inability to play D. Hope he settles for a low contract with winning a title in mind. Same with any free agent, can't be giving out max deals.

How many championships have been won in college or pro, in recent years, in which the PG wasn't a scorer? I can't think of one. At the end of the day if you can't shoot a basketball you are worthless in this day and age of basketball. The faster Lakers figure that out, the faster they might have a chance to be relevant again.
