Maybe most people are figuring out if your team didn't recruit a modern day dream team there is no reason to bother about cheering. Hard to sell expensive ass seat to people that know there team has zero chance of anything. When LaVar Ball is getting as much air time as LeBron, you know your league is a fukin joke.

Little Caesar’s Arena fills up more for Red Wings games.

Nobody cares about the Pistons or NBA regular season. Garbage product and tickets for decent seats are still expensive, why go? Garbage owner and GM too. Oh but we got Blake Griffin, yay! Cool for some dunks here n there, but terrible deal for the organization.

    It is a shithole

Should have kept the Pistons in Auburn Hills.
Keep the Wings close to Windsor, to get your Canadian fans.
Little Ceasers Arena will have serious growing pains for these teams.

If An expiring contract, Tobias Harris and a 12th pick is your soul, it’s not worth much anyhow. Especially in a city that cannot attract free agent max players. Deal makes sense for Both sides. When you cheer for a small market you’ll understand a bit better

Moving downtown Detroit from Auburn Hills was a huge mistake.

If they had Pistons/Wings/Tigers all playing in the suburbs every single game would be a sellout. That is where the fans and the $$ resides. Nobody wants to go downtown Detroit. Stupid libtards in Detroit/Michigan thinking they can bring the city back without eradicating the crime. Dumbasses

Tom Gores doesn't know dik about basketball.

Thought the arena would help with publicity.

People learning Gores is just an exaggerated talker.... with zero integrity.

Congrats! A late entry, but you win the prize for dumbest post of the month! Which, if you read this site, is quite an accomplishment.

The Pistons have been at or near the bottom of the league in attendance each of the past 7 years. The fans are sick of a stagnant product, that hasn't won a playoff game since 2008! That crappy attendance was all in Auburn Hills btw. The team is "supposedly" averaging more fans so far this year, but remain entrenched in the lower third of league attendance.

As it stands, the games are way overpriced to see such a lousy team, whose marquee player has been Andre Drummond. Who wants to pay exorbitant parking prices on top of already inflated "first season in a new stadium" prices to see that? People in the Detroit area would much rather see the hockey team...

Speaking of which, the Red Wings, despite being a bottom tier team, are near the top of the attendance figures, making your comment all the more asinine.
