Lifelong Wiz fan here, was just out there for Cavs and Pellies games.

This is what this team has and always will do. Play tough against good teams, and completely falter against terrible ones. Their inconsistency is the only reason they aren't ever a serious threat to get to and/or win the conference finals (yeah, LeBron. I know).

Wolves had a 19 point lead at home near the end of 3Q. They now trail.

May have been confused with T-Wolves game but thought Wizard were up BIG at one point.

    Wizards have 2 options

have Beal jack up a contested 3 or

have Wall recklessly drive to the hoop for a contested out of control miss or turnover

playing defense is not one of those options

Wall needs to at least get back to the level he was shooting last year where he was serviceable from the elbows and in. Also, if he ever learned how to control his body to where he didn't hit the floor (and usually miss in the process), he'd finish more often and get more calls. Frustrating to watch as a Wiz fan. Beal has also been struggling really hard from deep this year, particularly the past 15 games or so.

Once Beal gets his shot back some of the damage should be mitigated. This is still the 3rd or 4th best team in the East come playoff time. I don't see any team outside of the CLE/BOS/TOR trio taking them out in 7 games. They won't have a great regular season record or make it to the conference finals, but Ernie Grunfeld always seems content for a 2nd round exit, which is the biggest problem plaguing this franchise.

Lol okay. If it's against MIL/IND/DET/NYK/MIA/PHI then enjoy being in the red. This team doesn't lose in the first round.

Right. Do you honestly think they'll end up playing anyone else? (And Indy might be the 2nd worst out of the bunch. The early success is a mirage)

No kidding. It was a 2 point game at the half. Wiz were never crushing them.

Philadelphia beating Trailblazers pretty good...and allows 42 points in the 4th quarter alone
