Lebron works hard and looks good very year.... but the NBA likes to spread the MVP around from year to year.... back to back MVP doesn't come around much....

MVP is based on storyline. If you were the big story of the regular season you get MVP. I thought Harden was the bigger story than Westbrook last year with his play at the point, but people went mad for the extra two rebounds per game Westy averaged (with much less efficient numbers).

They said Harden had the better supporting cast, and that was why he his team had the better record. Now you see how well Oladipo & Sabonis are playing in Indy, and to a lesser extent how Beverley has struggled in LA. Oh, and how the Thunder aren't doing too good now with all that talent.

He's making a case for himself this year so far.. Lebron turned this team around in a hurry.. Kevin Love helped though. White boy KL is on fire also...

Tough test tonight in a back to back facing the Heat... Cavs might lose this one.. Come up flat... Miami Heat are scrappy...

How about taking 2 teams to the finals 7 (8 by the end of this season) years in a row?

Can't hate on Lebron as a player anymore.. He brings it.. He's up there with all the greats...

He's still a bit of a bitch at times and he's a punk when it come to Trump.. I don't like how he bailed out on Cleveland the first go around.. I do feel bad about his reseeding hairline though.. ...

I don't like the egotistical jerk, but yes he probably should win it every year.

But the voters don't like the same guy taking it over & over.

Perfect example was a few years ago.

Dwight Howard won Defensive MVP 3 years in a row.

Should have easily won it a 4th.

But they weren't having it & had to reach & award it to the great Tyson Chandler lol

Don't sleep on those Rockets this year!!!! They got something going on..

I'm starting to think the Houston Rockets might win it all.. That team is deep and rolling.. I've been impressed with those Rockets lately.. Chris Paul just adds another threat to that team besides James Harden who might just win MVP this year if Lebron doesn't get it....

This Rockets team matches up pretty well against the warriors too...

Come on jibby. The rockets play zero defense. Harden is weak

I don't see lebron play D. I see him make blocks from behind when the shooter isn't looking, but I don't see him man-up against the other teams offensive threat.

That being said. Whether he is the MVP or not will not affect my life one bit.

Chris Paul is proven to be solid in the playoffs.. That's a big addition.. Trevor Ariza is playing great so far, won a title.. Rockets team has a different look this year.. Blowing out teams.. Is what it is...

he has basically one mvp every year since hes got in the league, its only recent that others have one. Got to give credit to d rose winning that at 22 and vs lebron. Guys like dwight howard and cp3 and kd more often would of won mvps had lebron not existed
