Lonzo is never going to be a big time scorer. He will have a greater impact on final scores by putting up 15pts 8 reb 12 assist than 26 5 5. The jump shot will develop. Will just take time. He has amazing court vision and makes passes only a handful of players can make. The kid can play. He just needs to get comfortable.

Randle should be playing more but I think the gm doesn’t see him as being a good fit and Luke is told to limit his minutes until he can be dealt. Deng will be gone somehow and Bogut could get a pick if he is healthy at trade deadline.

Remember when Lonzo was going to be better than Jordan and Magic

Guy couldn't make 5 layups straight on a 8 foot hoop.

Starting to think Luke is a Magic/front office puppet.

Plays Bogut who sucked ass the whole first quarter over Randle.
Plays Kuzma who was sucking ass the whole game in crunch time over Randle.

Randle is being traded before the deadline.

Randle is by far the best player on that team. The fact that he gets 18 minutes per game is blasphemous. The fact that he gets 18 minutes per game with Larry Nance out is even more so. Sure, Randle is not good defensively, but there are a handful of players in this league who are pylons on the defensive end yet get it done offensively (OREBs & Scoring). Luke Walton is a piece of shit.

You know they are a .500 team with a point guard who's shooting under 30% from the field. That's not bad coaching, that's bad player. Going to have a long leash w/ Ball since the whole franchise is on him and the FA they sign next year (LeBron?)

They won't attract a top 10 player next year, that's for sure.

Not Walton's doing. Feels like a lot of backstage politics that he doesn't have a voice in causing some weird issues where guys aren't getting the PT that they should. I actually think he's been solid given the circumstances.

    Walton running a college program

Most of the guys on his team not even old enough to drink

    It's a joke all around

Benching Luol Deng for the likes of Larry Nance? Lol. They should just give up now.

I think you were trying to do live. Did you see something?

Anyway, I had to protect it. Aka, so did I. Took Cavs +500 and +485 prior to game. Didn’t watch game. Otherwise, I’m sure I would have added

THAT to me is always the right question. In the NFL more so than the NBA. There simply isn`t enough great coaches in the world to fill 30 spots.

After 5-6 guys in the NFL, I have no confidence in the rest of the "fraternity".
NBA. Maybe a few more. But think about Billy Donovan. Came in with all sorts of hoopla and fanfare. I would want any part of him.
Exactly what offense is he trying to run?

Brad Stevens. Nothing but praise. Smart. Calm. Great X/Os. Gets most out of players. Look at the inconsistent effort put forth this whole year. I wouldn`t get rid of him, but some of the shine is off to me.

This a really a CEO position in a billion $$ company. With mostly immature, entitled kids as your employee making tons more money than you. No thanks.

Lakers shoot 40% from the field, 21% from the arc, and 60% from the line (all rounded up), that isn't bad coaching that is on the players. Ball needs to go, he might be the worst player ever to play point for the Lakers. If Lakers cut him, no other NBA team would pick him up. As a Laker fan, I am embarrassed.

I've come around on Ball. He's got his flaws, but I like a true pg. His size is great on the defensive end in certain matchups also.

Getting rid of Walton would be the dumbest coaching switch since the Cavs got rid of Blatt. It would just make things worse.

Walton isn't the issue. Anyone who coaches the Lakers would have problems.

Why is it that every time Lebron joins a team, that team is totally built around him and whenever he doesn't play, that team can't win for shit. The Cavs without Lebron this year is easily the worst team in the NBA, maybe the worst defensive team in the history of the game. Yet, the Lakers without Lebron is actually worst than the Cavs.

The problem with firing Walton is their aren't any top level replacements available and Magic Johnson knows Walton is popular with the fans from his playing days. It works well for Magic too, whenever the Lakers suck the media blames Luke not Magic Johnson, even though most of Johnson's free agent signings like Rondo and Stephenson have been busts.
