    I can't remember ever rooting against some young kid more than I do Lonzo. The old man is every bit as despicable (probably more so) as Kris Jenner.....and that's saying something.

    Nobody but the most myopic of Lakers fans believed that this team was going to do anything in the West this year. Most of this roster will not be here next year. Those of us who grew up in the 80's with Magic and Worthy had to endure Sedale Threatt and Cedric Ceballos. Then we got Shaq and Kobe and Kobe and Gasol. We will get through this era and win again.

    Lonzo Ball was all hype. Look at this dude. He's not athletic like a Rose or Westbrook. He's not lightning quick like A.I. or Wall. He's not a pure shooter like a Curry or Booker. He's not good defensively like a Kidd or Rondo. What makes this kid so great? I think LA drafted this kid to sale tickets. No way they drafted him to win rings.

    LaVar Ball has nothing to do with the franchise. Here in LA he is a non issue. I can understand that on the outside it looks like he makes a lot of noise, but this is a noisy town and his nonsense gets drowned out. Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka and to a lesser extent Jeannie Buss are the faces of the Lakers. This franchise has 16 championships. They have plenty of pride.
