medically speaking: Hayward career in jeopardy

we all hope he recuperates 100%. He's a solid player with many great/fun years ahead of him.

but from pics i saw.. this is not plates/screws (that is for broken bones).
Bones appear intact.. what happened looks like two completely torn Ligaments,
Ligaments can stretch, but not like that, and maybe a tendon.

    1) from Fibula to Talus (uppermost front plate, top ankle)

    2) from Fibula to Calcaneus (heel bone)

    3) possible ruptured Achilles tendon:
can't see how nothing happened here.. foot is rotated 90˚inward.

    a) Where Achilles attaches to Calcaneus or b) Soleus tie-in may have torn also.
    Whichever one was weaker

that worse than a bone break.. plates and screws do not affect mobility..
if those Ligaments are completely torn as they appear to be.. i have no experience
in how they heal. He will have to keep those warmed up prior to game time..
will affects explosiveness.. he will be moving with less confidence.

we wish him all the best.

Hold him to the same standard as Rose. Come back as soon as cleared and put up 23, 8, and 6. No ifs and or buts.
