One of the better Laker pick ups if he can stay healthy and on the court.. http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/2...eal-agent-says

Bogut and Brook Lopez together will do some damage at the center position for the Lakers that's for sure.. I like it..

I think its just to mentor younger players, he can't stay healthy.

Bogut is 32 years old now.. He may a few more years in him.. He's not exactly an old man just yet.. Some players hit their prime at age 32 and win championships..

For example - Hakeem Olajuwon was 32 when he was playing his best ball.. He even won a title..Tim Duncan, Shaq and even Lamar Odom were great players at age 32 and were winning..

Hakeem Olajuwon, in full Hakeem Abdul Olajuwon, byname the Dream (born Jan. 21, 1963, Lagos, Nigeria), Nigerian-born American professional basketball player who led the Houston Rockets to consecutive National Basketball Association (NBA) championships in 1994 and 1995.

Andrew bogut is as dirty of a player as there is in the league and brook is softer than Charmin. Magic was probably playing the law of averages

He's doing the same thing as what KCP did. A 1 year deal so that he can re-up with a contending Lakers team next summer when James arrives.

Jibby please tell me you did not compare Andrew Bogus to The Dream, Big Timmy and Shaq Diesel.

Even Odom in his prime is a class or two above Bogut.

Only in age.. Come on man!! You know I wouldn't do that.. Not even Lamar Odom either.. Bogut is a good roll player coming off the bench at best.. Might make a good 1-2 punch with Brooks..

Well those guys were playing well at 32 because they were legends. Bogut is NBA size but YMCA skills and IQ.

Another head scratcher from Magic and Pelinka

I remember Bogut eviscerating the Celtics' nightmare frontline before the tragic injury. He was ten times the player Odom was. Still a great player, but only for about 20mins a night.

When he is healthy he isn't bad, like I said a good roll player off the bench.. https://www.basketball-reference.com...bogutan01.html

Good veteran player with upside for a cheap short term deal. I'm not sure what's wrong with that.

Much better now that Magic is in charge of operations.. He's trying to clean up this Laker shiiit show and make the Lakers Great Again.. ..

Lakers will be better this year.. As long as they are improving year to year I guess that's a good thing.... They may actually play .500 ball this year if I had to guess.. That's a big improvement from years past.. Clippers the big boys on the block and still own this city..
