Why it's looking like melo-wade-lebron just could happen

WHY IT'S LOOKING LIKE MELO-WADE-LEBRON JUST COULD HAPPEN
LeBron may get some help this offseason in the form of a few of his best buds as we could be looking at Jumpy Old Men in Cleveland this fall.
Report: If bought out, Carmelo Anthony and Dwyane Wade are candidates to join Cavs

The Cavs will be looking to upgrade their squad after their Finals loss to the stacked Warriors

After losing 4-1 to the mighty Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals earlier this month, the Cleveland Cavaliers have been looking for ways to upgrade their squad this offseason.
Since the news broke that Paul George won't be returning to the Pacers after next season, the Cavs have been involved in trade talks with the Pacers to acquire the All-Star, with the most recent proposed deal including the Nuggets as a third team.
Given their roster situation, any trade will be tough for the Cavs to pull off without parting ways with a player like, say, Kevin Love or Kyrie Irving. Cleveland has championship aspirations and is probably not interested in any lateral moves. It's seeking a big upgrade to compete with Golden State.
With that said, the Cavs could return to the buyout bin, which is where they picked up Andrew Bogut (though he played just one minute for them) and Deron Williams last season. This summer, however, the talent pool could be much deeper, as veterans Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony are candidates to be bought out.
Wade is now in a rebuilding situation in Chicago after the Jimmy Butler trade, and it appears as if Phil Jackson would prefer to start next season without Anthony on the Knicks roster. Neither has been bought out yet (nothing seems imminent in either situation), but if one of them is sent packing by their current team, they could head to Northeast Ohio. Via ESPN:
ESPN's Brian Windhorst subsequently said in an NBA on ESPN Radio interview Thursday night that both Anthony and the Bulls' Dwyane Wade are candidates to sign with the Cavaliers in free agency this summer if they can secure buyouts from Chicago and New York, respectively.
LeBron James is close with both Wade and Anthony, going on vacation with them two summers ago, which lead to the famous banana boat picture.
Aside from the friendship, though, both players -- Anthony, especially -- would give the Cavaliers a boost of talent as they try to reclaim the title next season. It may not be enough to beat the brilliant Warriors, but adding one of Wade or Anthony would certainly be the easiest way for the Cavaliers to get better without trading one of their core pieces.

Wade is still playing? His legs are totally gone.

This is what your career has come to, Lebron!! Sifting through the bargain bin, looking for scraps to burnish your failed "legacy"! Yes! I love it!! What a disgraceful and humiliating end!

I hope they do. They would be a mess. Carmelo is a ballhog. And Wade is getting more over the hill by the day.

Mellow just a ball hog it doesn't play defense or get rebounds

The only good thing he does play well with all stars as we have seen in the Olympic Games

Number one Melo hater chimes in, on cue. Yes, he does well in the Olympics with good players. Which, he has never had in the NBA.

Love never even made the Playoffs in Minny. He just padded his stats, and people think he's better than Melo somehow. I bet you 90%+ who have played against both disagree. Paul Pierce called him the most difficult player to guard, that he ever played against.

No one even watches Melo play. They just have it engrained in their head that he's a ball hog, lazy, can't play D, team killer. What did I miss? His teams have sucked from day 1.

He doesn't have Curry, Klay, Draymond. He gets washed up Rose, AI, Billups, Noah types. Kristaps is great, but not enough. Now Phil is fckin everything up. Drafts some guy from France for PG. He's decent, but damn. Knicks can't even tank right to get up in the top 5, and get a stud.

If LaLa wasn't taking half his shit soon, then maybe he would leave. The Clippers should have traded Griffin for Melo. No brainer. Love for Melo is a no brainer. The league is evolving. You can have two, or three guys that really play the same position. Kyrie, LeBron, Melo would at least have a shot against GS. When LeBron is surrounded, then Melo can knock down the jumper. The other team has to guard Melo more than Love, or Korver which opens up the lane for LeBron, and Kyrie, as well.

Cavs should send Love, and Korver away. They can't do shit, but stand in the corner.

Lebron can have melo and wade if he wants but any other teams who is stupid enough to think that melo or wade can improve their roster is just plain retard. Either they got now where to hide their money or brain dead. Melo will kill every teams chemistry, dude is lazy as hell and post up at the arc and pass the ball to avoid a shot clock violation on himself. Every time he touch the ball expect him to take a guarded fade away jumper. Will never play defense. Will also cost 20 plus mil a year just to have a name on your roster. Now with wade, dude was great but he dont play seefense either now, his too old to keep up. Hes good as a bench player and nothing more.

I agree completely, I couldn't think of 2 worse players to target if I'm Cleveland, Wade is 10 years past his prime and Melo is a lazy azzhole...neither will bring rings to Ohio

Some of these things are not like the others. Westbrook carried a shitty team to 47 wins. They'd be lucky to win 20 without him.

That'd be dumb... Cavs lost cause they couldn't keep up with a team reaching or at their peak. Klay and Draymond are still 1-2 years from their peak whilst Durant and Curry definitely peaking. Cavs have Kyrie who needs two more years - at least, lebron on a decline & team can't play defense and looking to add 33+ year old bums for a 27 year old?! Warriors in 4, with avg win margin of 25 pts... Getting Butler / PG13 and getting rid of TT, Shump looked like the best option. Lue also needs to go, or should get rid of his bench.. What's the use of keeping guys like Frye if u're not going to use them?! Kerr could beat these bums using the Wizards easy. That's how good he stepped over lue in these finals.

True fact .When lebron was in the game cleveland outscored goldy. When he went to bench was the difference.Cuse hit it on the head. MELO opens the floor. They need a big because Tristan proved he is a sub. But if they get an enforcer big and move lebron to the 2, they would be jamming .Yes quicker guards would give him a little problem but he would be a nightmare for them as well.

Only game 3 & 4. He was the only one playing throughout the whole series...& that's the point, Kerr knew he was going to get his 35+ every night so he basically took Irving and Love out, forcing everyone else to play. It says a lot when Klay is their 3rd option yet he balled out & won GSW game 3. That dude has ice in his veins. This should've been a 6 game series as Lue ran lebron & co into the ground which is why they couldn't score in those final 3 minutes. Now substitute Melo for Love, do you think Cavs somehow get better cause of his 23pts? These experiments and blame games need to stop cause Cavs need to get fundamentals right 1st. Curry prolly had more rebounds than TT &yet he's a starter?! Also waiting on T-Lue's defensive scheme

    -20 game 1
    -10 game 2
    +4 game 3
    +31 game 4
    -5 game 5
    ---------------------
broke even. just went back and did the play by plays. Here is my theory. Lebron is a great player but is not clutch. When they got over the hump is first ring he had cramps and dwade made clutch shots, The next year it was 3 point shooters that won. i think jr smith Yes lebron set him up. Last year it was kyrie who put the dagger in. This year it seemed when it got clutch he stepped out of bounds or threw the ball away. Melo has never had shit around him but he is clutch. Also he can board. If he is on the cavs next year my bet is definitely cavs. They were 3.5 to win it all beginning of season . I could see them being 3 to won and I may cash in some etherum to bet that
