I figure Klay will show up and so will Green. The other two are the key.

    Portland was garbage
Utah exhausted after 7 gm clips series n their big man hobbled
Spurs and kawhi up 23 in gm 1 in oakland third qtr then kawhi gers hurt

We'll see what happens when they play the freight train lebron and his healthy mates

I certainly don't buy into the GSW bullshit. All is to hype up Lebron if he wins as if Warriors has a better team. Cleveland is the better team imo and should beat the warriors. Irving outplays Curry and of course, Lebron is the best in the series/NBA. Setup your shooters and Lebron and Irving can make play for them at will. It will be hard to stop Durant I know, but Lebron can limit him.

The thing I worry about is someone from the cavs getting injured before the finals.

Same can be said for who the Cavs have been facing, Indiana Pacers, Atlanta Hawks aren't exactly power houses.. Boston is suspect and has injures now too..

I think Utah, Clippers and Spurs beats all those Eastern playoff teams in a series..

I think the Cavs have had an easier road to the finals then the Warriors simply said...

two very different things. miami had dwade, that's it. they were barely making the playoffs before lebron showed up. bosh and lebron were buddies and went to miami together.

KD went to a stacked team with 3 all stars who just went to the finals two years in a row and had a ring. lost the finals in 7 games. he went to a completely stacked team who was way better than miami was or cleveland when lebron went back. look at cleveland's record before he went back. they were hot trash.

I honestly have my doubts on whether the Cavs even win a game but yeah I guess 4-1 is the most likely scenario.

73-9 best record ever last year, still lost to Cavs. and don't tell me about draymond being out for game 5. they had a full roster game 6 and 7 and lost. game 7 at home, held to 89 pts. don't gimme that crap

homie you said all this same shit before the 2014 finals. "spurs haven't played anyone like the heat" "wait til they face the heat defense" etc. spurs absolutely dikk smacked them in historic fashion. this cavs team is much more reminiscent of that 2014 heat squad than last year's cavs. losing a game to this sorry celtics team is even more pathetic than taking 6 games to dispatch the zombie pacers from that year.

not to mention they are facing probably the most talented basketball team of all time. they would have no chance even if they were last year's version of themselves, and they won't even be that.

you are literally adding kevin durant to a 73-9 team. the "they lost their depth" thing is laughable. they still have their 2 main guys off the bench in iguodala and livingston. david west vs speights is essentially a wash. and i really like this mccaw kid, i think he's better than barbosa. so i'd actually take this year's bench over last year's bench.

Set in 2013 I picked the heat to win and an quite sure in 2014 I'm quite sure I pocked the spurs. Please dig up the threads and if I'm wrong I'll shit about that subject bit not this one

Golden State is the only team I can think of in the history of the NBA that has had the benefit of playing so many teams with hurt players. Wasn't the big guy for Portland out too (Urtec Spelling?). The only title they've won was when every team they played in the West was missing their superstar and then they met the Cav's without Kyrie and Love and the Cav's still went up in that series. I'm not falling for the Golden State okey doke. It's either Cleveland or nothing for me.

    Bingo.

2015 they avoid clippers-spurs who had to play in the first round which was insanity. nba changed the playoff seeding rule because of that first round series that year!!

they played memphis who had conley who has half blind and only played 1 or 2 gms. still i think memphis won 2 gms off them.

clippers blow 3-1 lead to houston. houston then has d-howard hurt i believe.

then in the finals they play cavs w out kevin and kyrie

this year, spurs up 23 late third qtr game one zaza takes an extra step and out goes kawhi.

PLEASE CAVS STAY HEALTHY FOR THURS 6/1 and BEYOND !!!

In recent sports history a team getting back to the finals/championship game after losing the previous one have all gone on to win. KC Royals a couple years ago, Clemson Tigers this year, Spurs a couple years ago to the Heat, Cavs last year, Warriors this year??? all were revenge matchups except Royals and all won.

Tell that to the bills who lost 4 straight super bowls, early 90s.
Or the jazz who lost 97 and 98.
Or butler who lost 2010 and 2011
    Texas Rangers 2009 and 2010
Or federer who lost 3 or 4 straight french opens to rafa
There are plenty of other examples.

Both teams so hungry to win this ring.
So many legacies on the line

To me the only question is "will the Warriors lose a series in the next 5 years". It sucks for the game but it is what it is. Might as well make some money off it this year, because the next few years they'll only be available at silly prices.

I thought that GSW would win rather easily in the Finals too until I saw game 1 vs SAS in the WCF. If Leonard before he got hurt was able to carve up the Warriors like that, I can only imagine what Lebron is going to do. The Cavs have been designed with one thing in mind and that's to compete with Golden State. They couldn't care less about any other team. I think it's going to be a 6 or 7 game series.

gsw will have a rude awakening like when Kawhi destroyed them in game 1 against the cavs. The spurs starters were mills, green, Simmons, Aldridge, gasol. If their name weren't the spurs, you wouldn't think much of that roster. 12-0 sure is great but I won't get duped like last year.

I think the series will come down to lebron, he will have to play so hard on both ends of the court in this series. We all know what he is capable of and he should have enough left in the tank but sustaining it for 6-7 games may just be too much this year. He basically has to be perfect
