    Are Cavs conceding #1 seed???

I mean first off blowing 26 point lead is embarrassing enough, but they are tied with Celtics and hold the tiebreaker for #1 seed in the East with only 2 games to go.

Benching their stars tonight obviously doesn't guarantee a loss, but certainly doesn't help. Assume Boston at home takes care of Nets, then at home take care of Bucks and Celtics lock in #1 seed.

Does Cleveland not care about home court?

I mean first round for Cavs as 2 seed would be Pacers, maybe Bucks then next round Wizards or Hawks. So in theory they should advance to conference finals. Even though Hawks beat them 2x in a week.....but then if then Boston makes it to conference finals they are the away team...

do they not care about home court or trying to make the story/script even better for Lebron and talking about resting guys and all that nonsense.

Cavs have the tie breaker over the Celtics. All they have to do is win one of their remaining two games. By the looks of it, they rest tonight, and then go all out on Wednesday at home against the Raptors.

Hope they lose 2 in a row

Conceding would be the dumbest move in NBA history

    HOME COURTS ARE HUGE

    This is wrong.

Both teams are tied, if they lose tonight, Boston controls their own destiny.

So, yes, Cleveland is conceding. They must not think much of Boston.

Krit - Don't they have to win both of their remaining 2 games??? Unless Boston loses a game.

If celtics go 2-0 and Cavs 1-1, Celtics take the #1 seed

Hawks last 3 games have all been wins....1 against boston and 2 against the cavs. Maybe the dark horse in the east?????

Cavs would have to play them round 2 compared to Conference finals.

I get Lebron has been to 6 straight finals, but isn't there some pride after blowing a 26 point lead to want to come out the next day and go out there and win

My mistake. Yes, they must be conceding, assuming Boston doesn't blow it.

Personally, I don't think #1 seed means all that much to them. I still think the distance between them and the next best team in the East is pretty big. We all saw what they did to Celtics in Boston last week.

Cavs simply don't care. If they did, would not be resting LeBron and Irving tonight.

The Celtics have to make it to the ECF for this to even matter. Big if.

If they play like they are capable of home court wont matter.

And if they play like they are right now...home court cant save them.

Cav's did not want to play Miami or Chicago in the first round. Smart move to concede the #1 spot. Celtics are going to get bounced by one of these teams... Watch

i know the discussion is "Cavs will turn it on in the playoffs" but I'm not so sure....they seem vulnerable this year. Not sure if all of the energy they exerted last year, but they just don't feel like the same team. They could very easily win the East, but I don't think they will have a cakewalk in any one round.

    Very vulnerable

    No defense

They could never beat GSW even 1 game

people talk about the past too much. Lebron hasn't lost a first round series ever. Cavs haven't lost a first round playoff game in like 2 years..cavs when the weather is above 72 degrees on a weekend always wins their games by 12.3 points unless its a leap year

Like I look at it right here right now what's going on with the team and it's not pretty. They dominant celtics on the road and since then lost 3 straight. Not a good way to enter the playoffs.

Lebron also will be sitting out finale game of season Wednesday

I really don't see any match up other than Cavs vs G.State round 3. Really don't want the Cavs to make it though
