    Pokey's NBA annihilation

    Hey guys,

    Long time lurker, only recently starting posting on SBR. In the past I've capped and have achieved about 55% in the last couple of seasons of NBA.

    This year I'm about 60% (46-31) and thought I'd share my picks as well as brief write-ups when I can with the community.

    I follow a one pick a day system and pass when necessary because I definitely don't believe in chasing losses. Hope you guys enjoy what I have to offer.

    Good morning everyone,

    Up early to see lines and pick a winner.

    Pick for the day:
    Take Indiana +3 over Atlanta (-105)

    Write-up:
    The Pacers are coming off a brutal loss against the Spurs on the road, and after beating the Rockets in their previous game, they will look to continue their current form. Agreed, the Hawks are on a roll and really took it to the Cavaliers in their last match, but don't forget that they were down by over 20 at one point and looked deflated, only to gain momentum in the last. Indiana is 4-19 SU in its last 23 games on the road against Atlanta and although many people see this as a downfall for the Pacers, they have a lot of revenge in this game. Don't be surprised if George has a massive game and Turner guards the rim like his life depends on it. I look for Indiana to win straight up here on the road.

    Slim pickings on tonight's card and I see no value in any matches as my models predict results extremely close to the lines given. Passing on the day.

    I see (and my models agree) Minnesota winning this one outright so a riskier play would be to take the Minn ML. Best of luck with whatever you end up doing!
