    Like I said, embarrassing.
He's no fool. He knows he finessed the writers in to those MVP's.. they ate that garbage nice guy narrative up when Harden and Lebron were clearly better in each respective year. Can't be surprised.. same writers that just put Jeff Bagwell in the HOF before Barry bonds.. absolutely disgraceful

On a side note.. he's not greedy for a max contract as wild as it sounds. IF he leaves, it wouldn't be because of $$

Kind of right. MJ had a nice thing going. Curry is obviously not the kind of Alpha MJ is. I do wonder if Curry kind of had to. For a lot of reasons, but Should Curry sit idly back and let another power team get him? It's a weird time. Gotta protect your rings.

While I couldn't see MJ trying to sway Barkley from joining the Jazz( maybe he would). I could see him trying to persuade Rodman to join Bulls instead of Going to Blazers if he thought it'd mess up his championships

It boils down to 1 THING... and 1 THING ONLY....

Does Curry want to be the highest paid player in the NBA? Simply can't happen with Golden State...

You can't keep this team together with all of these high paid players. Someone has to take a cut.

Curry could go to any team and get a MAX DEAL.

He already said that's not what he's going to do.. draymond and Klay would be the ones to go if someone were to go... or KD's disloyal ass.

What are the odds for Golden State dropping out of the NBA Finals this season? I guess there's a couple of teams in the West that could be a roadblock for the Warriors in the post season. Spurs could be one.

Durant showing he is better all around.

Curry like a system quarterback. Very good player but it is a great team around him and I am not sure how he would succeed with a worse team / coach.

Don't see much of a difference from the miami days.

2 players with similar traits in lebron and wade. Freakishly athletic slashers with unproven jump shots at the time. 1 bigger than the other.

Fast forward to the present in gsw with durant and curry and we have 2 freakishly great shooters with unproven defense. 1 bigger than the other.

Key to winning will be chemistry and coexistence just as it was back then with miami.

Same beat, new lyrics. If haters gonna hate I hope they were at least consistent in hating lebron and Miami

Perhaps you mean Value vs Pay. In that case, yes, he will get overpaid. But like other posters said, look at the value he brings to GS.
    1) Free Agents will sign to play with him (look at KD). Thus bringing in talent.
    2) Look at Forbes valuation of the GS. With no state of the art stadium, they are in top 3 (maybe top 5) in valuation.
    3) Look at the new revenue sharing and how mediocre players are getting overpaid. You have to pay him, bc someone else most def will. And again look at the excitement and revenue he will bring in. Again see point #2
    4) Young and still healthy. Healthy of course is relative, but has he had any major surgery?
    5) You never break up a dynasty. How many times have we seen this and more often than not, it doesn't end well.

Just my 2 cents. Great premise though, worthy of a discussion, especially at a GM level.

All I know is good luck to the GSW when the time comes. Basketball almost seems like it's baseball at this point, but luckily it's not. Close enough. Imagine if they had no cap.

Nba stars are becoming fragile barbies. No one plays defense or can bench over 150 lbs anymore. The stigma of nba players as tough athletes from the 90's is long gone

where would the Warriors franchise be without Steph Curry? lets ask that question.

forget KD, you think this team gets even remotely close to a championship ring without Curry at the helm?

this year is just the intro to a dynasty.

Curry gets the highlight plays when the game isn't on the line.

He is like the homerun hitter that hits meaningless homers in the 8th inning when the game is already over.

He is a good shooter obviously but I haven't seen him do it in the playoffs when the game is more physical.

Thompson is a much better player imo. He single handily saved he Warriors against OKC in game 6 last year.

I agree that Klay Thompson is the more solid player. Klay really should be getting more shine than Steph IMO.

Thompson is way better defensively and a better rebounder.

When Thompson drains shots he just runs down the curt. He doesn't shimmy his shoulders, dance and chew on a mouthpiece.

fwiw curry is probably much stronger than you think.
